US-built Sonic Excellence in Classic T-style Form

This iconic-shaped T-style Schecter USA PT Wembley Studio got us pretty excited when we first heard about it at Sweetwater. This US-built axe’s trio of tonewoods yields a sonorous, balanced profile, delivering a punchy sound that marries brightness, sustain, and crystalline articulation. Its SSH suite utilizes reverse-wound, reverse-polarity Pasadena VS-1 and Pasadena VT-1 single-coil pickups alongside a Route ’57 humbucker mounted in the bridge. Adding in the 5-way blade switch and the humbucker’s coil-splitting capabilities supply you with a wide tonal territory, ranging from classic T-style twang to lush, crystalline leads, with plenty of room for rough riffage. Whether you’re after classic tones or modern malleability, this Schecter USA PT Wembley Studio offers the sonic variety you need to sound your best.

A triumvirate of premier tonewoods

Schecter USA models are handbuilt by the company’s esteemed class of luthiers, and they spared no effort in selecting a trio of premium tonewoods for this PT Wembley Studio. Its alder body serves as its aural anchor, remaining balanced, bright, full-bodied, and brimming with sustain. Its roasted maple neck augments the alder’s natural brightness, supplementing it with full-spectrum warmth and resounding note separation, ensuring chords, licks, leads, and riffs are all excellently voiced. Up top, a rosewood fingerboard rounds out the tonewood triumvirate, imbuing your sound with presence and panache that keeps basses wide, mids powerful, and highs crystalline in character, all without compromising definition.

Engineered for striking sonic shades

This Schecter USA PT Wembley Studio is armed with an SSH array. A Route ’57 humbucker is mounted in the bridge position, crafted with high-carbon-steel slugs, philister head pole pieces, and a rough-cast NOS Alnico V bar magnet to deliver a flexiple spread of twang, tone, and raucous rock ’n’ roll panache. This middle-mounted Pasadena VS-1 single-coil pickup features a reverse-wound, reverse-polarity construction featuring hand-beveled Alnico V rod magnets and a 2-conductor, cloth-covered pushback wire harness, hampering the hum with vintage-inspired sound. A bridge-mounted Pasadena VT-1 single-coil pickup rounds out the tone-crafting triad, built with the same period-honoring hand-beveled magnets and pushback wire harness as the VS-1, tuned for higher degrees of heat and definition. Moreover, the PT Wembley Studio features a push-pull coil split — alongside its 5-way blade switch, Master Volume control, and Master Tone knob — that augments this guitar’s sonic sculpting capabilities to conjure untold worlds of versatile sound right at the source.

Primed for versatile performance

With all the Schecter USA PT Wembley Studio’s titanic tone-crafting tools, this nitro-finished 6-string pulls no punches in providing you with an all-access pass to powerful performances. Deploying roasted maple in the neck augments this axe’s resistance to twisting or warping due to the subsequent increase in the wood’s dimensional stability, making it an ideal road warrior and long-haul lick machine. Its time-tested T-style body is adjoined to a Custom C-shaped bolt-on neck, topped by a 22-fret fingerboard with a 12-inch radius, all of which sprawls a 25.5-inch scale, resulting in a distinct blend of speed, power, and comfort that accommodates players of virtually any style. Vintage locking tuners and a PT Vintage bridge that features in-tune compensated saddles bookend your strings, courtesy of Gotoh’s unrivaled craftsmanship, while a Graph Tech Black TUSQ nut joins the fray to deliver a rock-solid array of locked-in, buzz-free tones and impeccable intonation.
