Pull the Trigger on the Signature MGK Guitar from Schecter!

Ready to lock and load? The Schecter Machine Gun Kelly Signature PT Electric Guitar arms you with the weapon of choice of the boisterous rapper/actor/punk rocker. Inspired by MGK’s actual Schecter featured on the cover of his 2020 album, Tickets to My Downfall, this axe’s slick pink paint job and black binding combine with its honest electronics and control layout to strike a radical balance between contemporary pop aesthetics and the minimalism of punk. In other words, this axe has the looks and the firepower to match! From the Schecter locking tuners to its carbon-fiber reinforcement, all the way down to a single humbucker and master volume, you can be sure the MGK Signature is built to take a little punishment and dish out its fair share along the way.

Looks fit for a "Bloody Valentine"

This guitar was born to be played loud, and it certainly looks the part! Taking heavy inspiration from MGK’s personal axe, the pink body complements the black binding and hardware to establish a 2-tone theme that extends all the way up to the headstock. This Schecter signature guitar also checks a lot of boxes in terms of quality aesthetic appeal. One of the most noteworthy elements is the ebony fingerboard, which sports one top fret marker in the form of a double “X” on the 12th fret along with glow-in-the-dark side markers. Lying beneath the scorching-hot paint job is the potent tonewood combo of an alder body and a maple neck.

Serious sound with punk playability

The MGK Signature is equipped with a single Schecter USA Pasadena Plus Bridge humbucker. Standardized for Schecter's Diamond Series, this premium pickup supplies you with all the bright, lively crunch you need to drive your pop-punk sound. The master volume dome knob and kill switch are straight to the point and ready for action at a moment’s notice. A high-quality Graph Tech XL Black TUSQ nut keeps string buzz to a minimum, teaming with the Schecter locking tuners and the PT-H bridge to deliver fantastic intonation to accommodate relentless chord hammering. And the carbon-fiber reinforced thin “C” neck allows for easy movement and playability, letting you get as rowdy as you want.

Schecter Machine Gun Kelly Signature PT Electric Guitar Features:

  • Pink and black 2-tone theme inspired by MGK’s Tickets to My Downfall Schecter guitar
  • Ebony fingerboard with 1 double “X” fret marker on the top and glow-in-the-dark side markers
  • Alder Tele-style body with thin “C” shaped bolt-on maple neck that’s carbon-fiber reinforced
  • Schecter USA Pasadena Plus Bridge humbucker pickup supplies bright, crunchy tone
  • Single master volume control with dome knob and kill switch
  • Premium Graph Tech XL black TUSQ nut reduces string buzz
  • Schecter locking tuners and PT-H bridge maintain excellent intonation for reliable heavy play

Reviews

Great guitar
Definitely recommend, if you like Schecter then it's a yes. Easy to play and a lot of fun.
Great Guitar for the price
Guitar came with a decent setup, but little of work and its a great rock machine. Neck is very solid, no warps, twists or humps with a correct neck angle. Nut was cut well and guitar sets up with low action and minimal relief. For a thousand dollar guitar it's a great value and hits above the price point. Pickup sounds great with distortion and overdrive and handles clean tones pretty well.
Fun, easy to play, and sounds great!
The neck is honestly my favorite part. It's so easy to play. Thin and quick, and the radius is just easy to move around on.
Yeah
That Pasadena humbucker is way better than I expected. I thought I'd eventually switch it out for a JB or a Bareknuckle, but honestly I'll probably keep the Pasadena! Really great tone!

The kill switch is fun, but I never play anything or write anything that would call for it, and I kill volume with either the knob or my volume pedal, so I might rewire it to be a split coil switch. We'll see! But killswitch is really not a needed feature.

I see myself swapping the bridge saddles for hipshot OR completely replacing the bridge with a Babicz. Who knows. I will say that I received it real close to being fully intonated, with plenty of room to spare on the bottom E saddle so that's awesome.

I do wish for the price it had 1-2 of the following 3 features:
Stainless steel frets
Roasted maple neck
Hipshot bridge
Either of those would be better than a killswitch.
