A Portable, Grab-and-go Pedalboard

If you're searching for a compact pedalboard for uber-tight spaces, the Pedaltrain Metro 20 is a portable, grab-and-go solution complete with a low-profile, horizontal orientation. This rugged, aluminum-alloy board boasts a modified 3-rail system, and it's able to accommodate pedals of all sizes, from micro stomps to multi-effects units. The lightweight Metro 20 comes with hook-and-loop tape and zip ties for securing and organizing your pedals. A soft case is also included. The Pedaltrain Metro 20 is a rock-solid pedalboard — in fact, it's built to last a lifetime.

Road-tough construction and rugged soft case

This revolutionary pedalboard is constructed of ultra-tough and lightweight aluminum alloy. Its frame weighs less than 3/4-inch plywood of similar size, plus, there are no moving parts to loosen or wear out. Plus, it's solidly constructed with a durable powder-coat finish. Add to that a rugged soft case with waterproof fabric and self-sealing zippers, and you can be assured your Pedaltrain Metro 20 will last a lifetime. For these reasons and more, you'll find Pedaltrain boards under the feet of many guitarists here at Sweetwater.

Pedals not included.

Versatile open-frame design

Pedaltrain boards feature unique open-frame designs that provide added flexibility when configuring the layout of your effects. Connecting cables can be neatly routed over, under, and through the open slots in the top surface area of the pedalboard to keep the risk of possible accidental disconnection to a minimum. Pedals may be added, removed, rearranged, or bypassed quickly and easily. These units include plenty of industrial-grade, adhesive-backed hook-and-loop material along with detailed instructions to make setup fast and efficient. You can easily and securely mount virtually any effects pedal, volume pedal, wah pedal, or other device (such as a pedal power supply, channel switcher, power strip, direct box, or wireless receiver).

  • Durable 20-inch x 8-inch aluminum alloy pedalboard

Pedaltrain metro 20
Great little pedalboard for my need at a good price. Comes assembled with plenty of Velcro tape for pedals. Carry bag is good quality.

Quality pedalboard
I much enjoy how well made this product is. It was bigger than I expected and has all the space I need. I think the case will hold up well too, it has padding for support and sturdy handles. It'll be fun to keep adding more to this monster :)
Awesome!
Great little board to keep you nice and organized. Bag included is great quality too.

If I had to critique something, it'd be the board laying flat (level) on the ground. Easy solution - rubber feet from basically any gig stand will fit perfectly around the existing feet on the board to give it a slant.

Thanks again Sweetwater!

Small But Just Right
This is my 2nd PedalTrain. The other is rather large. This one is just right for my needs and they seem to have upped their case game. The zipper handles on my old one broke rather quickly but these seem much better. We'll see.

Solid, lightweight, and does what I expected
After returning a Mono board because it was too large, I decided to get the Metro 20. It's perhaps _slightly_ too small, but it forced me to simplify a bit, and in return I got a board that is super easy to take to a friend's house. Guitar goes on one shoulder, pedalboard on the other shoulder, and amp in hand. The bag is decently padded and the zippers feel heavy duty. Not flight-worthy and wouldn't stack anything on it, but if you're considering a bag in the first place, then this should meet your needs.

There's a tiny bit of room underneath that might fit a power supply if it's small, but there's mostly just room for wiring. The board lays flat, so you only have maybe an inch of clearance. The feet are attached with screws though, so you could probably get longer screws and spacers if you wanted to tilt it up a bit.

The included stuff to attach the pedals to the board works well enough. Things wiggle a bit, but I've thrown it somewhat-carelessly in the car a handful of times now and nothing has come loose. If you're using it for regular gigging you might consider something a bit more sturdy though.
