Road-tough construction

This revolutionary new pedalboard is constructed of ultra-tough and lightweight aluminum alloy. Take it from the Sweetwater crew - with its durable construction and powder-coat finish, the Pedaltrain Metro 20 pedalboard last a lifetime.

Pedaltrain boards feature unique, open-frame elevated and angled designs that provide added flexibility when configuring the layout of your effects. Connecting cables can be neatly routed over, under, and through the open slots in the top surface area of the pedalboard to keep the risk of possible accidental disconnection to a minimum. Pedals may be added, removed, rearranged, or bypassed quickly and easily. These units include plenty of industrial grade, adhesive-backed hook-and-loop material along with detailed instructions to make setup fast and efficient. You can easily and securely mount virtually any effects pedal, volume pedal, wah pedal, or other device (such as a pedal power supply, channel switcher, power strip, direct box, or wireless receiver).

Metro 20

This is a well made pedalboard that will never break or wear out. It does have elevated feet on the bottom but it is not angled--it sits flat on the floor. Use this with a 1Spot and daisy chain cable to power your pedals. Plenty of velcro for the board and your pedals. Case is top quality and should last a long time.

Great lightweight board

Simple, rugged, light.

Nice board

Okay, so there are no moving parts, no electronics, not even a significant number of pieces. So there's nothing to review, right? Not quite. Design, materials, and quality of construction come into play, and all are top notch with one minor exception. The design allows users to do exactly what they would want to do with a pedalboard and do it cleanly and efficiently. The frame material and the quality of construction make it impressively rugged; you'd have to take a sawsall to this board to damage it. The hook and loop material should last for quite some time and stay put due to the exceptionally sticky adhesive. The only exception to an otherwise 5 rating is that the board lays flat; it would be even better if it allowed for an angle towards the player. It's easy to workaround this if desired: unscrew two of the feet, head to the hardware store and pick up a couple that are taller to replace them. It would also be really helpful if PedalTrain just included a couple of taller feet with the board; if the user wants it to lay flat, they have that option, but if they want it angled toward them, the parts would be right there at hand and that option would be accomplished in about two minutes.
