Best for the buck!

I needed a guitar to take and play in my car while I write. This small size allows me to do that. Compared to my friend's Yamaha JR1, this guitar's scale length is 1.5" longer, so the cramped fret board is a little less of a shock to my fingers coming from a full size. As a bonus I wasn't expecting, the guitar comes with a gig bag, spare bridge pin, truss rod wrench and a spare saddle (?!). It's sound is what you expect for a 3/4 size guitar - not great but serves the purpose. If you don't want to spend $330 for a Baby Taylor or Little Martin (which I didn't, banging around with this thing in my car, on the road, in the sun), this Ibanez presents an excellent value!

Great "starter" guitar

Bought one of these for a friend's 10-year-old son. Unboxed it, tuned it, checked the intonation... and played it for almost an hour !! Beautiful woodwork and sweet sounding... in a small package. Thank you, Kevin Spunde (Sweetwater Rep,) for your suggestion(s) that led to this purchase.

a very nice travel guitar

Right out of the box it plays great. Great sound and playability. Ibanez always seems to go a little overboard with their quality based on the price of there guitar. For the money its perfect!!

Great Guitar, Great Value

The guitar played decently it of the box. Saddle and neck relief were just right. I lowered the fret slots a bit and the action was perfect. The mahogany top gives it a mellow tone which is needed with a smaller guitar which otherwise would be too bright. The light stain on the mahogany top makes this a beautiful instrument. Great guitar, great value. Sweetwater shipped it with lightning speed.

Good for the price

Good for the money, was able to pull the scratch plate off like it was a sticker, but I personally don't mind how it looks without it.
