I did not want my heavy rack toms on my bass drum, so I purchased two of these PDP double tom stands from Sweetwater. WoW! Massive! I now have my 8" tom on a single tom holder on a cymbal stand, and my 10" and 12" toms on one of these double tom stands. Then I have my 13" tom mounted on the other stand. I've attached a picture so you can see my set-up. To eliminate some stands, I removed the top portion of two of my boom stands and mounted them on these stands too. This allowed me to remove two cymbal stands from the set. I then bought a splash cymbal and a PDP holder for it and have it on my bass drum where the tom holder used to be.

PDP Is my favorite. Their products are great and durable and the price is usually decent. I purchased this stand and it's worked great for me Holds my rack toms. Sturdy Adjustable , convenient and all round awesome. I use mostly PDP for cymbal stands I say mostly because I have to old cheap stands that I'm still getting use out of. I recommend This stand.

I got this 2 weeks ago and I love it. It is heavy duty, I have an 8" and 10" tom on it with a shaft from a cymbal stand in the auxiliary holder on the back and it all works nice together. Set the memory lock an ready to jam. My first PDP stand was a straight 700 series cymbal stand, still in good shape and 15 years of service. This concept looks to be a more heavy duty and so far doesn't shake or wobble. Thanks PDP and very reasonable price.

Ordered this to hold my Toms and it is a good heavy built stand no moving around. It is very sturdy end with a cymbal arm on it holding my 16" a series thin crash. Would recommend this stand to anyone needing a heavy double Tom stand and at a really good price.
