This clamp gives me the extra length and angle position I need for my 10" rack tom.

So I purchased 7 of these for my Pearl Icon Drum Rack to mount my toms, float my main snare, add my M-80 firecracker snare and to mount one of my cymbals. I'm a short guy so the extra range these provide is a godsend, I can set all my components right where they need to be and I'm actually to reach everything. But that is not what this recommendation is about. The glorious day my stuff arrived, I only got 6. And this is why I will enthusiastically endorse Sweetwater, they fixed the problem and didn't make it a "me problem". Customer service is hard to work with sometimes, but every interaction I have had has been amazing. Let me repeat that, amazing. If you purchase anything drum related, you might get Will as your order engineer. Great guy, he has called and texted numerous times about purchases and orders and has went above and beyond to make me feel like my order is the most important order. That is the service and the experience that I will gladly choose to spend my dollars on every time.

I decided to put one of my crashes between my ride and another crash. Initially I had a boom stand and knew this was temporary until I figured out how to add it to my rack. I was nervous this clamp wouldn't clear the ride but..drum roll please.....it worked. I play Metal and after a 2 hour set this thing didn't budge! Pretty psyched about this buy!!

Awesome! What more can I say? I had a specific plan for this clamp in mind when I purchased it. I wanted to move my china cymbal from the right rear leg of my ICON rack forward so it would be easier to hit. Well, just in front of that leg is my ride...so yeah. Plan was to take this (the PCX-300) clamp it to the rack somewhere between the leg and a little under the ride, have the arm swing out (to the outside, of course), then add the stand for the china. I'll be danged if it didn't work just as I pictured it, it was perfect. Don't see myself needing another of these clamps, but, I plan on buying at least one more just to have in my bag of tricks.
