Reviews

Quality Dependable Guitar
I'm going on a year now playing everyday and this was my first guitar. I've bought others since with Floyd Rose and Ashtray and returned others. As much as I want to love them, I keep coming back to this guitar for rock solid quality, versatile sound options, comfortable layout, stable tuning and an extremely smooth and playable neck. Seems modest priced guitars are a crapshoot. I'm still very content with this guitar as an all rounder and it's the one that keeps me moving forward. I'm glad I went with the V version as the alnico pickups sound great IMHO. This guitar doesn't beg for mods as there are no glaring weak spots. I will have other guitars in the future but I'm certain this guitar will always be in the rotation. Shout out to SW and Dave M for unbelievable service, set up and care for each and every order.

Quality vs Price
I received this Yamaha Pac112v
in natural and to my surprise it looked far better than I expected.I purchased this guitar when it was on sale for
309.00!
I have other guitars in my collection that cost a lot more,
but I wanted to try a setup on
a lesser price guitar.I tuned
this guitar right out of the box and it sounds and plays great!
Customers please go to Sweetwater's website and check
it out, you won't be disappointed.

Great First Electric Guitar!
This is my first electric. I tried the Acoustic route for my first guitar and didn't love it. Overall this is a solid guitar. I looked at others from PRS, Fender, and Gibson. Most reviews will make you think that you have to spend lots of $$$ to get a solid guitar, that is not the case. Yamaha PAC112V has everything you need. Zero complaints from me. Guitar is easy to play and offers a variety of tones via HSS configuration. Would buy again.
Best kept secret in budget guitars
Having played instruments from every
manufacturer over the last 40 years, I can say unequivocally that the Yamaha PAC112V is a tremendous value for players of any level. I was looking for some specific features and this guitar checked all the boxes, flatter fretboard radius, 22 frets, and alnico pickups. I was also very happy that it was available in a natural finish. The 112 plays like a guitar costing thousands. The action and intonation were amazing right out of the box. What is different about the 112 and other budget friendly guitars in a similar price range, is that it doesn't need any mods right off the bat. The tuners are good, and the pickups sound really good. The coil tap actually sounds like a true single coil, and not a weak humbucker. You could safely gig with this guitar and be very satisfied with its performance. If I ever need another electric guitar, it will be a Pacifica.
Love this guitar.
Bought this guitar as my first electric and I love it. I specifically wanted a HSS pickup configuration for the variety of tones, a wood grain finish, and a nice, aesthetically pleasing headstock. I had chose this guitar for fitting all that, and it is just perfect. For what I wanted out of an electric guitar, its amazing.

Sweetwater's service was great as well. They had double boxed the guitar and put a few goodies in there. I had the shipping location changed, and they handled it really quickly and easily. And, while in anticipation of its arrival, they sent me the high quality photo shoot of the guitar, which was fun to stare at until the thing actually arrived.
