Reviews

Blunt review poor tuning stability
I heard all the stories about how Yamaha guitars(even the cheap ones) were amazing. I figured their budget line wouldn't be half bad. Well I wasn't half wrong either. This thing is a pain to keep in tune. Even after shimming the neck to fix the Low E side being lower than the other I still cant get this thing to stay where it needs to be. I set it down for any amount of time and it needs to be retuned. The intonation isn't the problem. The 9th through 11th fret on the low E for whatever reason never seem to sound right. Replaced the strings with D'addario NYXL 10-46 still cant seem to make it sound right. I would say it isn't a horrible guitar but it might take more adjustment to make it right. Other than investing more in the tuning pegs I don't know how else to make it right but I'm not throwing anything more than strings at a cheap guitar.
Low E buzz
I read multiple different reviews of the Pacifica 112v praising its quality. Got one myself. Pretty disappointed. I've tried to get rid of the buzz but can't. Other than buzz it plays nice, smooth. Shame
