Reviews

Amazing pedal!
I play tech-death and black metal genres, these pedals are a breeze for fast double strokes. Super smooth! I almost prefer using these over my Axis pedals. I took off the stock beaters and replaced them with some steel beaters from Trick. They pair perfectly! Highly recommend this product!
Music background: Touring
Great beginner pedal
A co-worker of mine got me this pedal as a gift, I think. I had just bought a nice e-kit but it didn't come with a pedal. My intention was to have him (co-worker) play drums and we could start writing music. I play guitar and some synth stuff but I needed a drummer. Anyway, got the e-kit but had to wait on the pedal. Co-worker comes into work one morning with a box. He says "here ya go"! I open it and couldn't believe my eyes. He bought a double kick pedal. He didn't have to do that. This whole idea was for HIM to play. That was almost 2 years ago. He's never come over. Not once. "If you want something done right, do it yourself" just rings in my head now. I don't need a drummer anymore. I still don't understand why he bought me this pedal. We don't work together anymore. We don't even talk. This pedal ain't cheap. WHY did he do this? I can play drums with wicked feet. Been a dream of mine since childhood. I still don't understand why, tho. Bothers me so much.
Music background: Guitar, keys, drums, mostly ambient rock/metal
Pearl does it again
Very very nice. Smooth as silk!
Good pedals
These pedals are pretty good. Really like them
Music background: Just a obsessive hobby
I spent a lot of money on a pedal that doesnt move as fluid as a DW 3000
This pedal is very uncooperative. I am a drummer who enjoys playing death metal and I struggle doing double bass runs because the pedal is very difficult to adjust, and the left pedal will always move back no matter how much I try to tweak the components of the pedal. Just the other day I went to guitar center and used a DW 3000 on one of their kits and I found that I could do bass runs for longer periods of time, the pedals were smoother, and I was much more comfortable on it than I was with this one. Save your money and buy another pedal even a different model from Pearl but not this one.
