What a great idea! I share studio space with two other drummers and mic stand space clutters up the studio- especially overheads. Impressed with the Triad system, I use a boom arm and clamp on a T3 stand for the snare and hihat and it works great. Yea, they’re expensive and weigh a ton but you definitely will get what you pay for. These things will last a lifetime and the options you have are limitless.

I am the Technical Director for a large multi-site church in Atlanta, and have been in the process of a significant video upgrade. We purchased several MARSHALL CV502MB point of view cameras for the praise band, but I wanted to place one inside the baptistry--but needed a solid wall-mount. I am very happy with not only the design of the TRIAD-ORBIT, but the build quality is exceptional! I'm very happy and pleased, that's not an easy thing to do to me ;-)

As a full-time, professional voice talent, I recently undertook the construction of a new, no compromises voice booth. Among the features I wanted to build into the booth was a microphone mounting system that would provide failsafe and flexible support for my Austrian condenser microphone.
