Union Audio’s Orbit.6 mixer supplies DJs and audiophiles with six channels of hi-fi rotary mixing, blending the iconic stylings of the glory days of Paradise Garage and Studio 54 with state-of-the-art aural engineering. Their Orbit.6 EQ/Xfader expands your mixing with a versatile array of sonic sculpting tools. Designed for use with their Orbit.6 rotary mixer, this 1U-sized addition brings crossfading into your 6-channel setup with adjustable crossfade profiles, as well as the option to bypass it altogether. The EQ/Xfader provides dual 4-band ISO circuits as well, allowing for comprehensive sound shaping across both sets of 3-channel banks. When used with the Orbit.6 rotary mixer, the pair of isolator circuits take the place of the Orbit.6’s onboard 3-band ISO. This functionality frees it to be used with any additional external gear, which has inspired Sweetwater’s DJs to experiment with compelling mixtures of groove blending and beat crafting.
Note: The Orbit.6 EQ/Xfader was designed to supplement Union Audio’s Orbit.6 6-channel rotary mixer, but the EQ/Xfader can be used as a standalone crossfader and EQ. Please contact your Sweetwater Sales Engineer with any questions or concerns regarding compatibility or use with your setup.
