The Octafuzz OF-2 includes Fulltone's popular mod, which is accessed using the pedal's Octa/Fuzz switch. In the Octa position, the pedal delivers a standard Tycobrahe-style octave-up sound with a subtle ring-modulation character. This setting works best with the neck pickup on a single-coil-equipped guitar, especially if you play single notes on the higher frets. The Fuzz position activates the mod, removing the octave-up effect and increasing the nastiness factor for ultra-distorted fuzz tones with more compression and incredible sustain at any volume.
