The McCarty's mahogany neck boasts a Pattern shape, which is an updated version of the company's traditional Wide Fat neck style. The Pattern Thin neck shape is based on designs Paul Reed Smith did in the '70s and '80s for Carlos Santana, Peter Frampton, and Howard Leese of Heart.
