Raven Desk
This Desk is really nice . Heavy Duty my only complaint is there’s no room to put other equipment like your studio interface, preamps etc......
Very Happy
I bought this a few years ago, and it's still the best studio set-up I've ever owned. Logic, UA interface, raven core station, decent mic, headphones, monitors, and plugins are all you need to make pro quality music at home.
Raven Core Station- Kissimmee Florida.
I have to start saying that I love my Raven Core Station and it is really impressive and an important part of my home recording studio. It is a solid and strong desk that is very helpful to feel comfortable working hours in the studio and that improved my workflow a lot.
The sales representative was very kind and patient. However, I have to say that the shipping process was a nightmare. I don't recommend use FedEx as a shipping option for this desk or any freight. They are a mess with the orders and my desk ended in the limbo in their system. I received three calls to cancel and reschedule the delivery because the desk did not arrive at their location when it was supposed to arrive. After the third call at 8 am, I received a call from the truck driver asking where exactly I live because it was close to my house to deliver the freight. Thanks God that I was at home and I was able to receive the package. But, I do not recommend use FedEx as a delivery option.

I really love the customer service of this company and that everything I order arrives perfectly, but it was the first time I really thought I was going to receive a broken desk.
In conclusion, a great desk, I really recommend it if you have space and want to make your studio look great, but first, check all your shipping options.
Music background: Music Producer and Professional Guitarist.
Priced too high for me.
Before this desk was available, I purchased two Raven MTi2 monitors. The representative from Slate who I spoke with at one of the Sweetwater gear fest events mentioned that a desk for the MTi2's would come out soon. So I went ahead and spent over 2000.00 plus tax on 2 Slate Raven MTi2 touch screen monitors.

When the desk finally became available to purchase, I was quite annoyed that the desk was priced at $1500 with no monitors. So the $2000.00 I had already invested plus the $1500.00 for the desk puts me well over $3500.00, not including taxes.

After purchasing the 2 Slate Raven touch screens, I figured some sort of accommodation could be made where I would only have to pay $1000.00 for the desk as I already spent the $2000.00 on the monitors. After all the desk with 2 Slate Raven monitors only costs $3000.00. The ethical question here is, why would I have to spend a total of $3500.00 for the same thing that only costs $3000.00?

So, what are my options?
Option 1. Sell the 2 monitors I have for the exact price I paid for them which may take some time to find a buyer. Then, purchase the desk with the 2 monitors for $3000.00?

Option 2. Keep the 2 monitors and lose the extra $500.00 it will cost if I purchase the desk only. Then install my 2 monitors.

Option 3. Take $500.00 and build my own desk that will utilize the 2 Slate Raven monitors more effectively. Which will save me $1000.00 over purchasing the Slate desk.

Option 4 Donate them and take a tax write-off and go with part of option 1 and spend $3000.00 for the dual monitor desk.

The MTi2 monitors are still sitting in their original boxes for about 4 years now. Waiting while I complete building and wiring up my studio and find or build a desk that will best accommodate the Slate MTi2.

I contacted Slate, and all they said is that I would have to work out the pricing with Sweetwater, but Sweeywater has no control over the price I would have to pay if I wanted one. You would think Slate would offer a voucher for people who purchased one or two of their monitors.
