Ready to Be Your Rock and Metal Workhorse

Whether you're looking for sonic versatility or eminent playability, the ESP LTD Phoenix-1000 solidbody electric guitar delivers gig-ready performance. The 3-piece mahogany neck features a Thin "U" profile and extra-jumbo frets for a fast, precise feel. Seymour Duncan pickups — a Phat Cat in the neck and a splittable Custom in the bridge — allow you to cover a huge tonal range, from classic rock to modern metal. Complete with locking tuners and a TonePros locking TOM bridge for impressive tuning stability and precise intonation, the ESP LTD Phoenix-1000 guitar won't let you down even when you're playing your hardest.

Widen your sonic range with Seymour Duncan pickups

Loaded with a pair of Seymour Duncan pickups — a Phat Cat in the neck and a splittable Custom in the bridge — the ESP LTD Phoenix-1000 guitar offers a lot of tonal territory to explore. And with push-pull controls to split the coils on the bridge pickup, it will be a while before you discover all the tones the ESP LTD Phoenix-1000 has to offer.

TonePros bridge and LTD locking tuners

Players who understand the importance of tuning, action, and intonation will delight in the Phoenix-1000's ToM-style TonePros bridge/tailpiece and locking LTD tuners. The TonePros is a common aftermarket upgrade for players looking to enhance their instrument. Its six adjustable saddles provide precise intonation and enhanced sustain for chords and leads. At the other end of the guitar, a set of LTD locking tuners provides slip-free performance, for stage and studio tuning stability you can depend on.

Reviews

2021 LTD Deluxe Phoenix 1000
Incredibly impressed and love this guitar. Top quality hardware, electronics and tone woods. Flawless finish. The neck feels and plays great. The bodies tummy cut makes it very comfortable to play. The only negative are the cheap strings it comes with which won't stay in tune. Do yourself a favor and immediately change the strings.

Phoenix 1000
Almost perfect straight out the box besides a little B string adjustment on the intonation. Nice deep fullbody sound. Good quality build. the only con is the plastic nut. I'll have to take it to my Luther to put a bone nut on it.
Music background: 50 years giggin , 60 playin
Blown Away!
I have owned a Gibson Firebird 1976 model, so I know a little about Firebirds. When my son wanted an electric guitar to produce his music with, we looked at a LOT of guitars. He is an ESP fan, so I took a chance and got us the Pheonix.
All I can say is, it's perfect. Guitar manufacturing has come a long way since I had the Firebird. The guitar is gorgeous. The binding, the frets, the hardware, and boy oh boy, the PICKUPS are phenomenal.
We looked at and tried out 100 guitars, and I can honestly say, this guitar looks, feels, sounds and plays better than any of them. Got a made in Korea, and I cannot imagine what a MIJ or U.S. would be like. No exaggeration, this is perhaps the best guitar I have held in many years. I have owned a 70's Strat, Telecaster, Gibson Firebird, Ibanez LP, and this Phoenix beats them all. What else can I say?
Music background: professinal listener and amatuer player and Dad to a prodigy.

I've been playing guitar for 29 years and Gibsons almost exclusively for 20. I got a Phoenix to play live so that I don't have to worry as much getting my Gibsons stolen. I have to say that I am loving to play this guitar. I never had an actual firebird and it's a pity that Gibson USA is not producing those because I would probably get one if it had normal humbuckers, an explorer headstock, ebony fingerboard, block inlays, and exciting finishes. That is what guitar feels like to me so thank you ESP for creating this awesome instrument. I'm now a believer of imports!
