The LP Aspire Bongos and Aspire Strap-lock Bongo Stand have worked out great. Sound quality is excellent and it is a high quality, sturdy, well made instrument. The aspire stand is also very stable and adjustable. I recommend getting both. Not a percussionist for most of my life, but I've been exploring beyond guitars in the last couple of years and this is one of those inspirational avenues I've been exploring. I've already put them to use and I'm starting to go through all the old songs that had bongos that I know about. I've used them mic'd up from just below with an SM57 maybe 6 inches below and I can get very good clear recordings. I've attached a video for you to hear and see them in action. Thanks again to David Wharam for working with me to order and deliver quickly. oh and the candy is always a treat.

They are beautiful solid wood and play nicely. My husband loved this as his Christmas gift.

Very comfortable to play, sounds great and very stylish, oh and are 10 year old grandson proof.
