Unbeatable Value from ESP LTD

When it’s time for rock-ready tones at a player-friendly price, the ESP LTD Eclipse EC-256 aims high and checks every box. The Eclipse EC-256’s single-cut body shape, mahogany build, and 22-fret fingerboard make for a guitar that’s easy to traverse and highly playable. A 3-piece mahogany set neck lets notes ring with enough sustain for arenas while keeping your setup extremely consistent. Moreover, the two LH-150 humbucking pickups provide a plethora of raucous tones for rhythm and lead work, plus the expanded tone options from the push-pull switch. Gear up for empowering playability with the incredible value of the LTD Eclipse EC-256 from Sweetwater.

Classic looks with modern performance

Nothing screams hard rock like ESP's timeless Eclipse body style. The extra mass of this single-cutaway design gives the Eclipse EC-256 truly epic sustain, colored in by the rich character of mahogany. The EC-256’s rosewood fingerboard delivers speedy comfort and an energizing presence. Add a super-sharp cutaway that lets you easily access the upper frets, and you're ready for unobstructed playing freedom. What’s more, the EC-256 has a slightly arched top — a premium design perk that keeps hand positioning comfortable, no matter your picking style.

Set-neck construction

The set-in mahogany neck on the ESP LTD Eclipse EC-256 provides a more resonant connection to the body than a bolt-on neck design. With a neck joint that’s virtually seamless, the EC-256 howls with fast attack and long-lasting sustain — a perfect pairing for articulate leads, massive power chords, and more. Plug in the Eclipse EC-256, turn your amplifier up, and you’ll see exactly what we mean. Lastly, the EC-256’s neck boasts an ultra-rugged multi-piece mahogany design. A favorite neck design among the pros, it offers enhanced stability that’s vitally important when traveling between gigs and rehearsals.

LTD: huge value with ESP quality

ESP’s LTD marque was created to bring a more affordable version of the classic designs and quality of ESP guitars to a new market. The entire ESP LTD line of instruments features premium tonewoods, quality pickups, and solid hardware for a lifetime of use. An exacting eye for detail and quality means that every instrument is ready to rock when it leaves the factory. An impressive list of signature axes by some of today’s biggest guitar and bass heroes shows the popularity and respect commanded by the ESP LTD marque. Sweetwater is proud to carry such a distinguished line of musical instruments.

Reviews

Beautiful Guitar
I've owned this guitar for a few weeks now, coming up on almost a month and it still brings me joy each time I pick it up to play it.
In my case I knew I was looking for a good single cut les paul style guitar with modern features and beautiful aesthetics. This guitar checked each of those boxes for me so you kinda have to know what you're looking for to enjoy the product, Everyone has different preferences.

That being said I was pleased to purchase this guitar through sweetwater, though I ran into a couple delivery inconveniences the guitar arrived in perfect condition.
I received a 2024 model with some slight imperfections on the finish but those are just minor things that dont really bug me.

I have already taken this guitar out to gig a couple times now and plan to do so more frequently now that I recently bought a new case for it.
Even though the guitar performs as good as it looks stock, I will be upgrading it to my personal preferences in the near future.

I want to thank my sales engineer, Caleb Priest, for making this a smooth first purchase from sweetwater.
Great guitar for the price
Great guitar for the price played and looked great right out of the box! Personally I will be putting much better pickups in it but that's my taste can't say enough about it great guitar !!

Probably the best guitar at Sweetwater for the price/value.
I was astonished when I opened this guy out of the box, after waiting 24hrs ofcourse for the guitar to adapt to my climate at home. "It cant look as nice as it does in the photos" was my initial thought before purchasing. It is truly one of the nicest looking guitars I've ever seen or played and I've owned both Gibsons and PRS. I had concerns based on how affordable the guitar was but for once I feel that not only did I get a great deal but a quality product. I've yet to find flaws in the finish, binding, fade, or anything. This is apparently a limited build from ESP and harder to get than the PS5 nowadays. I lucked out and was able to scoop one up. Good luck on getting one and I'm sure you will not be disappointed.

Superior quality for the price
Rule#1: Get a professional set up! This goes mostly for beginning and intermediate players. Each guitar must be set up to suit "you" and strings properly stretched to provide optimal tuning stability. Mine is a 2021 model the only mods I've done are installed Grover classic tuners, and a graphite nut for added sweetness. Jam on!
Music background: Semi professional
A lot of guitar for the money

I am more than pleased with this instrument and I own over 60 guitars. It is certainly bang for the buck and it leaves me wondering what the ones that are over $ are like cause this is all I need.
