I ordered this hardware for my Bob Kit. It arrived the same day I played, straight from the box to the stage, and the experience was 10/10. The only glitch I had was the kick pedal, but after a slight adjustment, it worked very well. 100% recommended for a lightweight setup compared to the DW 9000 Hardware.

I purchased this Ludwig kit for my practice drums - a PDP Aquabats shell kit! (And for those thinking the PDP kit is for kids, think again - it's actually the PDP New Yorker Shell Kit disguised as Aquabats)! Now we have that out of the way, the Ludwig Hardware kit is incredible quality for the price. When it arrived, I was thinking, "Oh geez, this is overkill for this kit!" Belive me, I got over that very quickly. The kick pedal is responsive and excellent; I did swap out the beater with a Vic Firth Felt Radial Head. The hi-hat is incred, responsive and great quality. The only discrepancy (and it's kind of misrepresented in the hardware photo) is that it DOES NOT include an actual boom stand. That was not a deal-killer for me - it didn't really matter. Overall, you will be VERY pleased with this hardware kit. I wouldn't hesitate taking it on the road! (Also, In the photo, you'll notice I used my own cymbal hardware next to the upper tom (the black mount) - which is not included in the Ludwig Hardware.) And of course, Sweetwater has become my "go-to mail order" gear provider over the years...they ROCK!

The crash and ride cymbal stands are great and seem solid and stand firm. The snare stand is very good for my 14" snare and seems stable during use. The hi-hat is topping out when I release the pedal causing an undesirable back sound, but that is probably just me not fully understanding the proper setup. Overall a good pack to have on hand.

If you are looking for a lightweight hardware set that is very good quality at a great price I highly recommend this hardware pack. I'm not a touring drummer, and mostly play locally a time or two per month, and practice at my house so I don't need a super robust, high end hardware pack. The L4HPACK has more than met my expectations. The quality is great for my needs, and I am super impressed with the hideaway boom stand, and the bass pedal. They are both great. I ordered a Ludwig Atlas straight stand as well, and actually prefer the straight stand that came in this pack. If I needed another hardware pack I would order this in a heart beat. As always, the service provided by Sweetwater was second to none.

Absolutely no complaints. Everything feels high-quality and does what it needs to. It might be inexpensive but I don't see any reason to spend more.
