Easy to use, it's so adjustable for any setup you need above your main stand. the square bar can also except more attachments like laptop holders, extra limbs like it came with so you can make three complete holders if need be. The up/down length and angle are almost unlimited. For the money this is great. My main keyboard is about 30 lbs 88 key Casio and with the double X-stand I have it offsets the weight of mixers, synths you name it. YOU CANOT GO WRONG WITH THIS SET UP.

The On-Stage Stands KSA8500 Deluxe Keyboard Tier was exactly what I needed. Thanks to Sweetwater and my trusted Sales Engineer Ian Roegels for the great service. I had several keyboards set up in different areas which was a bit chaotic feeling. And it was stifling creativity. While I didn't have an On-Stage keyboard stand I did have a QuikLok T-500 KEYBOARD X STAND. The On-Stage Stands KSA8500 Deluxe Keyboard Tier was an exact fit. It's very sturdy and well built allowing for many different equipment sizes and configurations. I have a Korg Karma on the actual X stand. On the On-Stage Tier there is a Moog Sub Phatty on one tier and a Yamaha Reface CS on the other tier. Just check the weight of your equipment and don't exceed the specs and you'll be good. The max weight for my X stand is 180 lbs. The specs for the On-Stage Tier system is 66 lbs. (33 lbs per set of arms). I also have a Korg N364 set up below the Korg Karma on a separate stand that is not part of the On-Stage tier system I'm reviewing. I'm only mentioning that as I wouldn't want my photo to confuse anyone. But this way you can see how it can work with other keyboards near it. I'm studio only and it works great for my needs. I think it would work well for someone doing gigs. Just mark your settings and it should be a quick set up and break down. I love it.

I ordered this stand for my new Native Instruments S49. I wanted a stand that I could add a second tier too. I needed a Stand that was wide enough to hold the S49, and also stable enough to hold a second tier. I needed the second tier to be able to hold 2 items and be individually sizable from side to side. I also wanted room for my iPad to use as my Logic X remote. This stand is SOLID!!!

On-Stage Stands KS8291XX Keyboard Stand with Lok-Tight Construction

I purchased this Tier to consolidate three of my keyboards onto one stand. The tier is terrific and very sturdy & adjustable. It will work with the On-Stage KS7350 Heavy-duty Folding Z keyboard stand, but you should be aware of a couple of details. 1) Due to screws in the upper tubes of the folding stand, the adapters that come with the Tier cannot be fully inserted into the tubes from what would normally be the rear of the stand. You have to rotate the stand 180 degrees and insert the adapters into the longer side of the upper tubes. This works, but could potentially make the stand slightly less stable than it would normally be, depending on how you mount your gear. 2) It is also necessary to drill holes into the stand so that the adapters can be secured with the provided screws. A good drill and a 3/16" bit does the trick, but you'll need to be careful to line things up correctly. Hats off to my advisor, Cliff Hackleman, for his assistance exchanging the On-Stage KS1355 Single Tier Z stand (which turned out incompatible with the Tier) for the On-Stage KS7350 Folding Z stand. Always great service & speedy delivery from Sweetwater!

Great customizable stand. Fit the z-stand perfectly. Did have an issue of my making with an adapter that i broke but Stephanie and Ed got me pointed in the right direction. They saved the day and i'm a happy camper now.. That's why i keep coming back to Sweetwater and the team. Great customer service with a personal touch.
