These are well-engineered and lock in tight. No wobble.

All of Triad-Orbit products are so well made and well thought out. The quality is amazing!!! It makes switching out mics and gear so much easier and so quick. Highly recommend.

I looked at some of the quick-release style adapters, and thankfully found the Triad-Orbit adapters before I bought anything else.

I can't imagine NOT having these in my home studio now. The uses for these handy adapters are endless.

A buddy showed me this at his studio. After unscrewing and swapping shock mounts in the middle of a fast paced, hectic session and taking longer than felt comfortable I decided to order a few of these as well as one of the excellent Triad Orbit boom stands. Having used them for a few weeks now I can't imagine going back. Besides switching mics out with the greatest of ease it's also nice from a security standpoint to easily take everything down at the end of the night and put them back up in the morning without moving anything. It's such a simple, well designed device that's way more helpful than you can imagine, I'm surprised no one (including myself and my knowledge) ever thought of it before. One of those funny little things that make studio life that much easier.

Great fit for any mic stand and very stable. It makes for an easy release as well.
