I can shred on this guitar like no ones business. It's also for the price point very disposable. I personally like it because it comes apart easy when I smash it on the stage. Overall, good smashing guitar!

It was everything I expected! Came in the usual timely manner I've come to expect from Sweetwater! I love ordering anything from Sweetwater!

Hey Ibanez! This guitar is great, but if you had made it a 24" scale with 24 frets, it might just be the most popular guitar on Earth ;)

This is an excellent short scale guitar for $. Played better (in my opinion) out of the box than many of my guitars that have been set up properly, no doubt partially due to the low string tension. It's not everyone's thing, but I love low tension. I can walk into any guitar center and play guitars four times the price and still prefer how this one feels. Ibanez continues to knock it out of the park with their budget models.
Pros:
Plays fast and nicely
Bends are super easy (short scale)
Easily portable
Cheap
Blue color looks nice
Nice, good access neck joint, especially for a bolt-on
Meh:
Pickups are fine, but not great
Doesn't feel high quality (duh)
Cons:
Tuners don't keep tune as well as others. I replaced mine with quality locking ones and it's fine now. Gotta compromise somewhere.
I don't like how silver hardware looks

Overall great value. Others say it's good for kids or those with small hands, I agree but extend this to anyone looking for a cheap, portable, easily playable guitar. Swap the tuners, maybe the pickups and you have a really solid instrument!

We got this guitar for my son this past Christmas and it's been a blast to play. Great for smaller hands and would also be a nice travel guitar for someone on the go. Tuning stability seems to be the only issue, but that could be my son, banging around on it.
