Take Hands-free Control of Your Rig’s Volume

Lightweight and ready to hit the road, the Electro-Harmonix Volume Pedal provides precise, hands-free control of your levels. This passive volume pedal requires no external power source, offering a smooth and natural-feeling action that accommodates minute adjustments with ease. Plus, Sweetwater’s stompbox obsessives appreciate how the Electro-Harmonix Volume Pedal sports two switchable impedance options (25k or 250k) for nearly universal compatibility with any rig. A heavy-duty enclosure seals the deal, ensuring that the Electro-Harmonix Volume Pedal is ready to take on even the roughest touring and gigging conditions without breaking a sweat.

Two adjustable impedance settings

Strictly designed with an eye for simplicity, the Electro-Harmonix Volume Pedal features but a single adjustable parameter: A 2-position impedance switch that allows for 25K or 250K operation. What’s so important about input impedance? Volume pedals are one of the most versatile stompboxes when it comes to placement — you’ll see them placed just about everywhere, from the start of the signal chain to the FX loop. The Electro-Harmonix Volume Pedal’s adjustable impedance allows you to optimize the pedal’s operation no matter where it’s placed, ensuring you always have a clean and usable sweep to play with.

Electro-Harmonix Volume Pedal Features:

  • Lightweight and road-ready volume pedal that offers hands-free attenuation of your signal
  • Smooth and natural-feeling action allows for exacting control of even the most minute adjustments
  • Selectable 25k or 250k impedance options for nearly universal compatibility
  • Passive design requires no external power source

Almost perfect

Pros:
Smaller than the Ernie Ball.
Much better pivot point!
Clean, clear sound.
Smooth operation.
Nice taper is easy to have fun with.
Right side in, left out makes cabling easier.
The impedance switch!
Great price.

Cons:
Plastic housing (seems sturdy but light).
Notched gear type capstan for the pot makes a little noise though I didn't hear it at very low amp volume shouldn't be an issue.
Surface mounted jacks.
May not be the best choice for the destructive type on stage.

Overall very satisfied!
Music background: Noisemaker mostly

It’s not the pedal’s fault

An electronic pad with a volume pedal simply doesn't afford me the dynamic control of a real timpani. It is a little better with the pedal, but hard to be precise.
