Cleanly Mounts a High Tom and Crash!

Get your solitary rack tom off that snare stand and onto something stabler and easier to position. The DW9991 is the ideal way to mount a single tom over your bass drum. For starters, the double-braced hardware will prevent leaning and tipping due to aggressive playing. And even better is the ball-in-socket "L" rod, which positions your tom at infinitely adjustable angles — great for trad players and all you persnickety metal drummers. And a bonus: this item includes an accessory clamp to let you mount a cymbal arm or other piece of hardware. The 9991's 1/2" tom arm is guaranteed compatible with DW TB12 tom brackets. Call your Sweetwater Sales Engineer for questions about other fits.

DW 9000 Series hardware: made by drummers for drummers

DW has taken input from the world's top drummers and drum techs and incorporated it into its elite 9000 Series hardware. Such suggestions include memory locks on the tube joints and the base assembly, plastic tube insulators, infinitely adjustable toothless tilters, large reset handles, secondary tilter locks, cymbal space adjusters, heavy-gauge tubing, and more. For the most professional of needs — studio or stage — you can depend on DW and its premier 9000 Series hardware.

DW 9000 Series Single-tom Stand Features:

  • Single-tom version of the DW 9900
  • The ideal way to mount a tom over a bass drum
  • Included accessory clamp lets you mount a cymbal arm from the same stand
  • 1/2" tom arm fits DW TB12 tom brackets and certain others
  • Ball-in-socket "L" rod lets you infinitely customize your playing angle

  • Hinged memory locks for quick stage setups
  • Part of the DW 9000 Series

Rated 4/5

DW always excels in everything they do.

I sure wish I would have done this sooner, now, I can use a cheap light stand for mobile gigs, and leave the flagship 2 ton cymbal/tom mounts at home. Dont be fooled, this thing is heavy but perfect and stable for a tom and a cymbal stand. Took me a few minutes to drill holes and install it, but well worth it, and if for some reason I dont want to use it, its compact and hidden. Id give it 5 stars if it werent so freaking heavy. But in the long run, I guess thats a good thing.
