Enables the Utmost in Tuning Accuracy

Clip the Korg CM300 onto your horn, violin, guitar, or ukulele, and enjoy dead-easy, super-accurate tuning — its built-in piezo element sends your instrument's vibrations directly to your handheld tuner. Thanks to the CM300, you'll benefit from high-precision tuning on noisy stages and in the midst of large ensembles. It offers more durability and resistance to stress than its predecessor, along with improved sound transmission performance, by virtue of its redesigned cable. If you use a Korg handheld tuner, the CM300 is a must-have add-on accessory.

Durable, stress-resistant cable

At Sweetwater, we're impressed by the rugged durability of the CM300's cable. Its sheath is much softer than its predecessor's, which endows it with enhanced flexibility. Beyond that, redesigned strain-relief slits reduce stress on the wire, making it much more resistant to damage. Its sound transmission performance has also been upgraded.

Works with a variety of instruments

The Korg CM300's clip opens to a maximum width of more than 1 inch and accommodates a large range of instruments. It attaches gently but firmly to the bell of a brass instrument, the bridge of a violin or cello, or the headstock of a guitar or ukulele.

Korg CM300 Features:

  • Clip-on contact microphone for Korg tuners
  • Built-in piezo element sends your instrument's vibration directly to your handheld tuner
  • Ensures high-precision tuning on noisy stages and in the midst of large ensembles
  • Offers more durability and resistance to stress than its predecessor
  • Clip opens to a maximum width of more than 1"
  • Attaches easily to brass instruments, violins, guitars, ukuleles, and more

Works like a charm!
I purchased this along with the Korg TM-60 tuner. I have another TM-60 with this microphone and really like the way it works. I find that it is as accurate as using the microphone in the tuner itself and the wire is plenty long enough that I can leave the tuner on the music stand. I have read some reviews of some brands of these "contact tuners" creating issues with some guitar finishes. I have NOT had any issues with the finishes on a Gibson J-45 and a Gretsch Tennessee Rose. But then, I don't leave it clamped on constantly. This is a great addition to the Korg tuner and is really helpful if you are in a noisy environment. I highly recommend this.

Not just for Tuning IMO
We used this pickup for live amplification of a Cello this past week. It did surprisingly well, especially considering its price. Worth ten times the cost for the sound it produced. Better then a clip-on Beta 98, and non of the associated bleed from other instruments.
