Easy Routing, Selecting, and Combining

The Morley ABY-G can be employed in a variety of situations. Namely, the choice between two inputs/one output or one input/two outputs gives the user many options. You can, for instance, run a signal to a pair of amps for true stereo effect; switch between two amps for dirty/clean tones (perfect for that old tube amp with separate channels); bypass that noisy boutique stomp box or your entire pedal setup altogether; simultaneously run a keyboard and guitar through your effects chain, and more. Basically, you can route one signal to two outputs or two inputs to one output — then select between them or combine them. We've tried countless switching solutions here at Sweetwater, and we can confirm that the ABY-G will give you routing flexibility with zero crosstalk or bleed through between channels. The ABY-G pedal features a road-tough black steel housing with eye-grabbing gold lettering.

Morley ABY-G Signal Switcher Pedal Features:

  • Routes 1 signal to 2 outputs or 2 inputs to 1 output
  • Choose A, B, or A and B combined
  • LEDs show you which signal is active
  • Quiet, high-quality circuitry ensures zero crosstalk or bleed through between channels
  • True bypass switching preserves your tone when inactive
  • Black cold rolled-steel housing with eye-grabbing gold lettering

Great for two amps
I purchased this to switch between my solid state and tube amplifier. Built like a tank, nice lights and silent/solid switches. No added color or noise. I am using this in a home studio environment.

Always good to save a few bucks on Sweetwater certified open box.

Solid Switcher
I use the Morley ABY to blend a British voiced amp with my Fender Princeton in three different ways. The first way I use it is just blended to get a full sound. The second way I use it is as rhythm on one amp and lead on the other. The final way (maybe my favorite) is to set up the Princeton as the main sound and then the other amp provides a boost for a little bit extra. This is now my most important pedal and I highly recommend it.

Perfect For Switching Instruments, Mid-Show!!
Love this pedal!! In addition to my full electric band, I have an acoustic duo / trio that has been getting quite busy this past year. We alternate between our 6 string & 12 string guitars for different songs. Plugging / Unplugging is a hassle and also interrupts the flow of the set. With this pedal, I keep both guitars connected and just grab the one I need out of my stand. True bypass works great with no noise.... Easy to use and the switches are quality.

Where have you been all my life?
Spending money on a splitter is kind of like spending money on a guitar case: there are basic needs to be met, that should not break the bank, even if you COULD spend a whole lot more.

I run this for the A and B setting, to two amps - specifically, so I have two safe zones on stage where I can guarantee that I can hear myself regardless of monitor or sound man quality. Surrounding yourself with your amps literally puts you in the middle of your music. Beyond that, I use the A or B function to compare speakers, cabinets, and effects. Very useful pedal, though it could easily be overlooked as a waste of money. No regrets, other than that it took me 30 years to get one.

A/B or Both
You can have your cake and eat it too. Clean swap and allows for the tonal blast of two amps playing together. Exactly what it says it is.
