Morley Gold Series ABY 2-button Switcher/Combiner Pedal Reviews

Signal Switcher with 2 Footswitches, Indicator LEDs, and True Bypass Switching

The Morley ABY-G can be employed in a variety of situations. Namely, the choice between two inputs/one output or one input/two outputs gives the user many options. You can, for instance, run a signal to a pair of amps for true stereo effect; switch between two amps for dirty/clean tones (perfect for that old tube amp with separate channels); bypass that noisy boutique stomp box or your entire pedal setup altogether; simultaneously run a keyboard and guitar through your effects chain, and more. Basically, you can route one signal to two outputs or two inputs to one output — then select between them or combine them. We've tried countless switching solutions here at Sweetwater, and we can confirm that the ABY-G will give you routing flexibility with zero crosstalk or bleed through between channels. The ABY-G pedal features a road-tough black steel housing with eye-grabbing gold lettering.

A/B or Both

By J.D. Roberts from Belgrade, MT on February 19, 2024 Music Background: Touring Musician

You can have your cake and eat it too. Clean swap and allows for the tonal blast of two amps playing together. Exactly what it says it is.

If you need it get it

By Pejo from Spencer, MA on October 3, 2023 Music Background: Modify all my equipment cause I stink

There are no surprises with this switch its silent and works as advertised.I like using it to a and b amps and it's very helpful for trying to emulate the sounds of the other amp you just keep tweaking and going back and forth and suddenly you can get 2 different amps to sound real similar(lol)great for stereo rigs too wet and dry amazing!Any way you use it it's tops if you need one get it,no worries with this one

Love this A-B Switch

By Brian from Pacific Northwest on October 3, 2023 Music Background: Guitarist for 55 years; playing venues

I had a cheapo switcher that bled through and was....just, well....garbage. This is so not that! This switch doesn't color my tone at all; I don't get cross channel bleed through. It is silent as the grave in switching. When I don't want to have to remember whether it's on A or B, it has the ability to do A & B active at the same time and still with no tone coloration or cross channel bleed. Great pedal.

Great Peddle

Switching Easy

By Jerry T. Yates from GA on December 7, 2022 Music Background: I've been performing in public by playing guitar and singing for 58 years.

I've had the Morley Switcher for a couple of weeks now, and I love it! I haven't tried it in concert yet, because I haven't played one since I got it. However, I've been practicing as if I was in concert. I have to use two guitars, one in standard tune, and the other tuned a half a step down. I simply step on the button and switch guitars when I need to. It's as easy as stomping a bug. I've had no problems with it at all. I think it's a wonderful product, and I'm very glad I have it!

A Simple Rock Solid ABY Pedal

By Jon on November 16, 2022 Music Background: Guitarist for 57 years.

I have used Morley switch pedals for years with no disappointments. This pedal is built to last a hundred years, and it allows me to switch pedal boards with no issues, no noise, and no negative impact on my guitar's tone.

FYI about the power…

By Sweetwater Customer on August 17, 2022

This pedal works great like the description says, looks good, and feels nice to use. It can be used without power but the lights won't work. I tried for a while, but ultimately wanted to have that visual indication. THIS PEDAL USES 300mA. I was fortunate to have an unused >500mA power slot, but 300 is unusually high and is worth noting. Also the description on Sweetwater says 2mA but the back of the pedal has a sticker saying to only use a 300mA power supply. This pedal did not work in a >200mA power slot on my Truetone CS7. Anyway, I love using this and Sweetwater truly rocks!

Just what it’s supposed to do…Just works

By Daniel Dubriwny from Nashville on March 21, 2022 Music Background: 50 years of gigs

Jimmy Hart is just awesome. He kept asking me what the heck I was trying to do and then nailed it. Instead of a small mixer, want 2 keyboards to go into one amp input. This Morley ABY is perfect. Simple, clean signal, easy.

Morley switch box

By Thomas Trobaugh on August 14, 2022

The Morley switch box doe just what it says. I am ale to plug me rig into two different amplifiers at the same time. This gives me a diversity of tone. For the low price this is a must have pedal for those with more than one amplifier.
