Great Cabinet
Great sounding cabinet! I purchased the Peavey 2X12-C and bought this one for a different head. Just can't beat the price or quality! Couldn't be happier!!
Music background: Started playing guitar in 68.
Great Sounding and Looking Cabinet
I have been running a stereo rig for a while now and typically use my 5150 III lunchbox and a 1x12 cab along with one of my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe amps. I have been wanting another 5150 III lunchbox head and I wanted to run both of the 5150's into one cab in stereo.

This Peavey cab fits perfectly for this. The tones sound great, the cabinet looks great and both heads fit nicely on top. The stereo sound isn't as wide sounding as it is when I have two separate amps and cabs farther apart, but it still sounds great! I played through a 212 5150 Peavey cab for years and I definitely like this one better. I don't think it sounds any better than my current other cabs or amps, just a bit different in tone. At least with this new Peavey cab I can have a stereo rig and only have to load one cabinet into my vehicle. It takes up a little less space than my 2 1x12 cabs.

I haven't taken the back off yet to try it as an open back cabinet, but I plan to.

The only thing I can say that is a negative at this point is there doesn't seem to be a cabinet cover available from Peavey.

Sweetwater was great to deal with as usual and I received the cabinet in perfect condition.
Peavey 212-6 Cabinet
Paired with my Peavey 6505 mini-head. Sounds amazing. Even with the wattage set at 1W, it's loud, and that was outside during a practice jam. Great sound. I think it would work great with any amp head. Well constructed. Heavy duty. Haven't tried it with the "open" back yet. I would recommend, especially at such a reasonable price. Shipping was quick too. Thank you Kyle and Sweetwater!
match made in heaven!!
I paired this cab up with a PRS MT15 head and it sounds amazing, tight and punchy the green backs are a perfect combo 5 stars!
Music background: 30 plus years guitar
Worth it
Simple, instant tone and overall sound upgrade. Love the optional mono/stereo. Doesn't sound "boxey" at all. Highly recommend
