match made in heaven!!
I paired this cab up with a PRS MT15 head and it sounds amazing, tight and punchy the green backs are a perfect combo 5 stars!
Worth it
Simple, instant tone and overall sound upgrade. Love the optional mono/stereo. Doesn't sound "boxey" at all. Highly recommend
sweet cab
sounds awesome like greenback do very happy with it.
Excellent 2X12 cab
I love this cabinet. Looks great. Well built. A little heavier than I expected but about the same weight as most 2X12 cabs.
I was looking at this and the EVH 2X12. I chose the Peavey because it has Greenbacks and this definitely
has that Greenback midrange that I really like.
I will be getting a second one soon.
Tight and Punchy
For hard rock to high gain heads (or combos) this is awesome. I use it with my LBXII and Peavey mini head and it sounds really good. Tonight I plugged a Marshall dsl20CR into and it was night and day, made a decent tone a great tone.
Great Speakers
Love the way these speakers sound. I love the sound of greenbacks on my Orange heads. Very balanced sound. You can get a more open sound with back cover taken off. For small heads it goes vertical and for my bigger amps it goes horizontal. very versatile.
Very handy piece of gear.
Bought this to run low watt combos through...wow! Vox AC10 and Fender Princeton reverb both sound so much punchier...and louder...and this cab can be run stereo as well...celestion greenbacks are pretty nice speakers...not as bright as Alnico...but for my style the smoother warmth works perfectly.
Prefer Vintage 30's
I've had this cab for almost two months. I bought it because I wanted to pair it up with my 6505MH and my 6505+. I bought the 2x12 instead of the 4x12 because, frankly, the 4x12 won't fit in my car with all of my other gear. I sorta wish I just bought a bigger car. While this Greenback loaded cab is decent, I definitely prefer the Vintage 30's, especially with the 6505+. Nice cab but at a fairly expensive… price point I'd hope to see it with the V30's.
