These are great
I've had the Schaller-type design. They aren't that reliable in my experience. So, I did alot of research and learned about these. These things just work. One thing to note is that you will probably have to take the strap off if you are stowing in a case because they protrude slightly from the guitar. From this point forward, it's only these for me.
Excellent design!
My only issue with these strap locks is that they lift the strap about 3/4 inch off the guitar body which looks a little awkward. However, this is not all bad because they keep the strap away from the finish. This matters more with nitro than poly but prolonged contact of leather with any finish can cause discoloration and damage. They are very secure and well made. I think they are exactly the same as the fender Infinity locks.

My Favorite
Tried all the major ones just about. Schaller, Fender, Dunlop, Levy's, Grover, etc etc. These top em all. To me they just feel more substantial than the others and I really love the fact that the strap buttons they come with can still fit a regular non locking strap if you so choose. What got me to give these a try is simply because I like how the locking mechanism works. I don't buy strap locks to swing my guitar around like an idiot. (though I'm sure you definitely can with these) I just like them for the convenience of having a quick connect/disconnect. These are perfect for that and IMO the nicest set you can buy.
Hands Down My Favorite
I won't say I've tried em all, but you might as well say I have. Fender, Schaller, Dunlop, Dimarzio, Grover, Levy's, etc. I like these the best by far. They're rock solid and secure, after installing them I gave the guitar a good jerk and a good shake and they stayed put. I also much prefer the way the locking mechanisms are designed. They're just much nicer to handle and it's much easier putting the strap on or back off. Easy to put on and take off as Dunlops, but without the worry of the lock failing or accidentally bumping the button on the end of the lock by accident. Last but not least, the strap buttons are designed in such a way that you can put a normal strap onto the guitar. Unlike Fender/Schaller locks.
Strap Locks
Purchased a set of these for my almost 13 lb. Musicman bass 8 years ago and have not had a problem with them. After a couple of close calls with the strap popping off the stud on my Peavey Foundation back-up bass while playing, I ordered a set of these and problem solved. Easy to install in about 5 minutes. Even though you can lock the strap onto the guitar body pretty quickly, I always give the connection a couple tugs after set-up just to make sure they are locked in place. Once a year I spray just a little dry lube on the locking mechanism and make sure the nut that connects the strap lock to the strap is tight. Do that and I think these will last a very long time.
