Worth it
Bought these to swap out my 250k pots in my tele after installing some Seymour Duncan hot rails in bridge and neck. I like the tele feel but not to crazy about the twang. Originally I left the 250k pots in and it didn't sound right. After changing pots out it sounds really good. A lot more volume and clarity. Some would say it doesn't make any difference but it does.
Music background: Pastor and lead guitar for praise team
Good Pot...
These 500k ohm pots measured a little low, at 472k and 477k, but they work great. I put these in a mij Jackson Soloist. Had to ream out the holes in the guitar body from 8mm to 3/8" and drill out my knobs to 1/4". These pots are good quality. They turn smoothly and have no noise. They feel much better than the 30 year old originals. These have a good 3/8" of thread to allow mounting through a wood body, not just a thin pick guard, like most other pots. The included tone capacitor measured perfectly at 22nF and works great.
Good pots.
This pots are very good. Love it.
