Like Five Wahs in One!

Fulltone’s Custom Shop Supa-Wah takes the manufacturer’s beloved Clyde wah pedal and supercharges it with two additional modes. Adding to the Clyde’s original three, the Supa-Wah delivers five unique modes to explore for one of the widest varieties of wah sounds ever housed in a single pedal. Classic modes like Wacked, Jimi, and Shaft channel everything from the original “Clyde” sounds of the 1960s to funk-laden soul and dirty, gritty low-end grunt. With the Phat mode, the Supa-Wah delivers an incredibly throaty, vocal sound. Switch on over to the Sub mode and prepare to slam your amp and cab with deep, booming tones — this setting was a quick favorite among Sweetwater bassists, retaining the nuances of their sound while adding welcome low-end punch. A Level knob controls how clean or hard your signal hits the circuit, making for a greater level of tonal fine-tuning. Add the Fulltone Custom Shop Supa-Wah to your pedalboard, and you’ll never need another wah again.

Five switchable modes

Fulltone truly upped the ante with the Supa-Wah. This wah pedal brandishes an astonishing five operating modes — two more than came on Fulltone’s flexible Clyde wah. Sub mode offers an intense bass response that’s excellent on bass guitar. Switch into Whacked mode, and the “wow” sound will shine through your amp. Meanwhile, the Phat mode offers the thickest sound known to humankind. Jimi mode is Fulltone’s re-creation of the iconic ’60s wah used by Hendrix and Clapton. And finally, Shaft mode offers funky sounds heard on classic records from the ’70s.

Fuzz-friendly buffer

The Fulltone Supa-Wha includes a switchable buffer mounted to the left side of the chassis. The buffer’s adjustable level control enables you to tailor its response to better fit your pickups, fuzz pedals, or amplifier. Don’t need the buffer? No problem. Just switch it off and enjoy true bypass operation. What’s more, you can use the JFET buffer as a subtle volume boost to help your guitar or bass cut through the mix when needed.

Next-level attention to detail

Like every pedal created in the Fulltone Custom Shop, the Supa-Wah is built by hand with extreme attention to detail. Everything from the internal components to the gorgeous finish has been carefully selected for quality and executed perfectly. In fact, this wah comes with a matched pair of BC109B transistors (subject to availability). What’s so great about those transistors? They’re the same as those in the iconic Clyde McCoy wahs from the 1960s. Players searching for a well-built wah-wah pedal can’t go wrong with the Fulltone Supa-Wah.

Super Wah
Best wah to lead or rythem, just killer to get waht you want with the output and gain knob and style of wah :)
Music background: Guitar Hero
Top Teir Wah
This particular wah was on my must have tone list. The price is intimidating, however Fulltone designed this to cover every tone. The Supa-Wah has an input knob to control its volume. 2. A dial to get your desired classic Wah circuit. There are 5 choices. Premium all analog circuitry & built durable which is Fullrone's philosophy. According to me, this is not THE AVERAGE Wah!! It may require time to get acquainted to w/ its importantly unique features. The Sipa-Wah has an outer buffer switch that is ideal. Why? some boards have 8, 10 or MORE fx(CABLES) which will suck the tone out of ones investment. The buffer option is genius. Im still getting a feel after a week + to get a the best fx pairing. BTW- Sami-Rose was very helpful regarding this purchasr.

My last wah
My first wah was in 1977. A crybaby, big muff and LpB-1 was all I needed. Each pedal was 20.00 a piece.
Now in 2025 after already having a Clyde deluxe I naturally had to try the Supa Wah.
Another step up for the Wah and honestly I can't how they could make it better. You'll forgive yourself spending this much on a Wah after using it one time.
The story continues.
Music background: 50 years of guitar obsession!
Finally
Thank you to my sweetwater rep Timothy for going above and beyond his call of duty to assist me in getting this pedal. 5 star plus service from Sweetwater and I absolutely adore this wah pedal. I'm glad I got this over the Deluxe because this one has the "Phat" setting thst I love. "Wacked" is also a really cool sound! Many killer options oj this thing. Stepping up my wah-pedal game up big time with this one.

Thick, Fat, Smooth, Lush...WAH WOW !
I really like this wah, especially the 2 lower settings. They are very unique sounding unlike anything else. I can get it to sound very close to a voice box on these settings. Sounds thick and fat. All the settings sound great. I already have a crybaby for the traditional wah sound so these sub settings are a perfect complement to it. It is the smoothest fattest lushest sounding wah ever. It has a vintage taper which is a short taper. Some will probably not like this as all modern wahs have a long taper, but I like it alot. You got to have a little bit more feel and touch to play this instrument unlike the treadmill wahs of today.
I gotta give a shout out to Sweetwaters excellent customer service. The first unit I got was faulty as it had a noisy pot right out of the box and a creaking treadle. They sent me out a replacement right away which was perfect sounding and operating. This is why I always come back to Sweetwater for my gear.
