State-of-the-art Passive DI Box

The Lehle P-ISO is a state-of-the-art passive DI box with ultra-high-quality sound. You can deploy the P-ISO to isolate signals and eliminate hum, and balance high-impedance signals. You can also use it for reamplification or any other application that demands a clean, noise-free signal. This top-shelf DI boasts an Lehle Transformer HZ, which galvanically isolates your signal to eliminate ground-induced interference. While it's designed for use with high-impedance signals, the P-ISO also tackles low-impedance signals with exceptional quality. And since the P-ISO is a passive device, there's no need for a power supply. The Lehle P-ISO also boasts an optimized size and weight, ensuring it fits effortlessly under your pedalboard or in your pocket.

Lehle Transformer HZ supplies über-transparent isolation

We've all experienced ground-induced interference — that dreaded 60Hz hum when two pieces of gear are connected to each other. This occurs when your system contains multiple paths to ground, thereby creating an interference-prone loop. Thanks to its Lehle Transformer HZ (LTHZ) isolation transformer, however, the P-ISO offers an easy fix. Simply place the P-ISO between the two units. Doing so will galvanically isolate the ground connection, which breaks the loop and eliminates the hum. At Sweetwater, we've found that the P-ISO's galvanic isolation doesn't color your sound, nor will it alter your dynamics — it's as transparent as can be.

Lehle P-ISO Features:

  • Sonically transparent isolator and DI box
  • Great for balancing high-impedance signals, reamplification, and more
  • Lehle Transformer HZ galvanically isolates your signal to eliminate ground-induced interference
  • Accommodates both high- and low-impedance signals
  • Completely passive design — no power supply needed

Reviews

Solved a major issue I've been grappling with for years!
Years ago, I bought the Prophet REV 2 desktop module when it first came out. But I was always discouraged from using it on my record because of the noise I kept getting. Horrible noise. I tried everything from ground loop isolators like HumX and the iFi. I tried TRS cables, I tried TS cables. Nothing worked. I finally bought a few of these babies and BOOM! QUIET! Unbelievable.
Music background: Composer, Music & Scoring Mixer
Didn’t work for me.
Bought this to reduce noise in a 4CM rig, which already had the best components and cables available. It actually increased hiss a bit. Disappointing. I sent it back.
