Reviews

GVreat Tuner

I have limited space on my bench, and my Conn Stobotuner (from the early 60's best I can figure), was becoming a bit ornery, so I decided to take the plunge and see if this would do the trick. Boxed very well, giving Apple a run for their money. A substantial size for a single dial tuner makes for easy visuals. I am pleasantly surprised at the features, accuracy, visualization, etc. I did not skip a beat in getting this up and running, and it makes me wonder why someone would even consider a $ and up expenditure, when, considering accuracy, which is what guitar techs are looking for, this one boasts great specs. The USB C charging port is very convenient and fairly universal. Perhaps a standard DC power jack would also be a great option, but overall this is a great tuner. Awesome job, Peterson. This is an indispensable part of my workflow in my shop.

Peterson strobe tuner
Never tried a strobe tuner before, very nice, should have gotten it long ago. Highly recommended.
Great pedal
Great pedal, easy to learn and use.
Game changer for setup work.
I decided to go all in on doing my own guitar setup, and even building a blackguard nocaster. I decided I need a real bench strobe tuner to set intonation. Wow, never realized how nice a strobe tuner is to use. This unit is well made, compact and affordable, compared to big bench tuners. I thought it would be a luxury, but now realize an essential tool for the would be guitar tech.

Peterson Tuners are the best!
Takes a bit of getting used to, but the precision of the Peterson tuner has been unmatched since the days of their original "Strobotuners." Watch their how-to videos or just figure out that when the display momentarily stops, or it can't choose whether to rotate to the right or to the left, then you're in tune.
