This strap works perfectly with my vintage Guild D-50. It's one of the few that i could find that is long enough. The strap also works on my old Strat which is very heavy. It doesn't dig in to the shoulder because the leather is really pretty soft.

The leather is "leatherette" feeling on the smooth side and suedish on the other. I use mine for Ohana Baritone uke which isn't very heavy and it works great for me. Pay attention when you go to adjust it or if you're like me you'll have to look up a picture to see how to put it back together. ;0)

I am disappointed with this strap it is too thin and feels and looks like patten leather. I won't buy another. I want something thicker and feels like leather not vinyl.

I purchased this strap for my Martin DJR and found it to be too 'cheap'. It's a slick, plastic-y leather and the underside is rough and uncomfortable on the shoulder.

I was expecting a nice thick leather strap. I wouldn't buy another. It is cheap looking. I looks like plastic. Don't buy one of these. They are not cheap but are cheaply made.
