A blank sonic canvas for your amp modeler
Unlike traditional guitar amplifiers, full-range, flat-response amplifiers/powered cabinets like the Headrush FRFR Go are engineered to replicate a signal with minimal coloration, just like a PA speaker. Why? Many modern amplifier modelers emulate entire guitar signals, from the amp to the cab to the microphone used to record it, giving you the polished sounds of a professionally recorded track. Introducing coloration after that chain is often undesirable — why go through so much trouble to replicate a specific signal chain only to completely change its response with a colorful amp? No matter what amplifier emulator or floor processor unit you’re working with, the FRFR Go’s extended frequency range and flat response provide a blank sonic canvas for your sonic simulations to shine on.
The perfect practice partner
Perfect for guitarists and bassists who practice along with backing tracks and their favorite songs, the FRFR Go features powerful audio streaming capabilities. You’ll enjoy effortless wireless audio streaming thanks to the FRFR Go’s dedicated Bluetooth channel, accessible by a simple press of the Pair button. Prefer the stability of a cord? The FRFR Go also comes equipped with a stereo 1/8-inch aux input to connect to your smartphone, a drum machine, or other devices. Finally, Sweetwater’s apartment-dwelling and volume-conscious musicians appreciate the FRFR Go’s addition of a 1/8-inch headphone output, which completely mutes the speaker to facilitate whisper-quiet practice sessions whenever you like.
A powerhouse of portability
The FRFR Go is a natural choice for guitarists and bassists who prefer to practice at home without headphones using their amp modeler, yet this compact amplifier is ready to deliver top-class sound anywhere thanks to its rechargeable lithium-ion battery. A single charge grants you up to 13 hours of uptime, providing plenty of juice for impromptu jam sessions on the porch, busking, and more.
