Delightful OM-styled Acoustic-electric
The D'Angelico Premier Tammany offers a different variety of tones than you'd traditionally get from a D'Angelico. This guitar will quickly become your go-to for casual playing and recording alike. It has an incredibly comfortable non-cutaway OM-style body that sits perfectly on your leg. The best part about the OM shape is its ability to create impeccably balanced tones whether you're strumming or fingerpicking. At Sweetwater, we appreciate that this axe has an onboard preamp and tuner to make gigging hassle-free. Seriously, you'll be amazed by the intuitive EQ and tuning controls. It may have a classic look to it, but the D'Angelico Excel Tammany is built to meet the demands of today's players.

Experience effortless playability
The D'Angelico Premier Tammany is incredibly playable. It has a smaller, OM style body that's made with a solid sitka spruce top and laminate mahogany back and sides. It has a slightly shallower body that sits well in your lap and reduces fatigue in your picking arm. This guitar doesn't feel like your Dad's acoustic though. Instead of having a tree trunk for a neck, the Premier Tammany has a slim, satin-finished c-shaped neck carve. Combined with the 20 medium jumbo frets, this neck feels just like D'Angelico's electric guitar necks — quick and effortless.

Take the stage with confidence
You won't always have the ability to mic up your acoustic when you're playing out. That's why D'Angelico equipped the Premier Tammany with an under-saddle pickup and onboard preamp. It has a master volume control with 2-band treble and bass EQ. To save you from putting an unsightly clip-on tuner on your headstock, the preamp has an easy-to-read tuner installed within it. Whether you're playing out or plugging into your interface, the D'Angelico Premier Tammany will give you a great acoustic tone.
D'Angelico: a history of acoustic accolades
