Epic Tone and Performance for Lefties!

From solid riffs to intense solos, the Jackson Soloist SLX solidbody electric guitar is the affordable axe you want in your arsenal. The first thing you'll notice when you pick up your Soloist SLX is how comfortable it feels. The body is lightweight basswood contoured with classic curves, and the neck is topped with a compound-radius fretboard, a favorite design among rockers here at Sweetwater because it lets you fret chords and solo with ease. Top it off with Duncan Designed humbuckers, and you have an axe that looks, plays, and sounds like it belongs onstage.

High-performance design puts you in touch with your music

One of Jackson's mottoes is "Choose wisely. Play better." That's not just hype either. The fact is, a well made guitar, like a Soloist SLX, gives you a closer connection to your music. For instance, the Soloist SLX features a compound-radius fretboard, which is more rounded at the nut and flatter higher up the neck. This makes it easy to fret chords near the nut, while opening up the fretboard for soloing. The flatter higher frets also let you keep your action low, without bottoming out when you bend notes. And thanks to its neck-through-body design, the Soloist SLX also gives you epic sustain.

Genuine Floyd Rose Special recessed tremolo for huge dive-bombs

In typical Jackson fashion, this incredible guitar was built with nothing but quality hardware onboard. That's why they gave the Jackson Soloist SLX guitar a real 2-point, double-locking Floyd Rose vibrato tailpiece. The lightweight Floyd Rose Special tremolo tailpiece gives you the real feel of an original Floyd Rose, adding to the Soloist SLX's amazingly responsive feel.

Duncan Designed humbucking pickups deliver rock-ready tone

Great feel is only part of the equation. Jackson knows this better than just about any guitar maker. That's why they've equipped the Soloist SLX with a set of extra-hot Duncan Designed humbucking pickups. An HB-103N pickup at the neck and an HB-102B at the bridge give you well-balanced tone with tight bass, glassy mids, and crunching highs.

Jackson Soloist SLX Left-handed Solidbody Electric Guitar Features:

  • A performance-built left-handed solidbody electric guitar made for metal and rock
  • Basswood Soloist body style is incredibly comfortable to play
  • Duncan Designed humbucking pickups deliver a huge range of tone
  • Compound-radius fretboard lets you easily fret chords and perform solo runs
  • Graphite reinforced neck-through-body design delivers phenomenal sustain
  • Floyd Rose Special double-locking 2-point tremolo offers rock-solid tuning

Reviews

This is near perfection from the factory!

I've only had this a couple of days. But I've played it about 8 hours so far. Just WOW!! It's extremely lightweight. Everything is exactly where it needs to be and it sounds incredible.

The neck is perfectly shaped for the average size hand. And frets on this are phenomenal right out of the box. Just the right height and nicely polished. I'd put them up to the frets on my Gibson any day!

Pickups are strong and not buzzy or sounds muted like the ones on my PRS guitar. Mine came with the black satin finish, which I wasn't sure about. Especially on the neck. But I'm telling you, this is the best finish I've ever had on a guitar that gets used. Easy to clean and doesn't show fingerprints. The same finish is on the back of the neck. I added just a dab of String Ease to mine and it's like running your hand over ice is so slick!

Hard to believe you get all of this for around $. Worth every penny.

And as always, a big thank you goes out to Chris Freidman once again for answering dozens of question I had about this. He's always patient and very helpful.

If your on the fence about buying one of these, just do it. It's money well spent.
