Schecter’s High-powered Evil Twin

Turn your music to the dark side with the Schecter Solo-II SLS Elite Evil Twin Electric Guitar! This high-octane shred machine offers detailed construction and biting tonal capabilities packed into a comfortably contoured body. Garbed in elegant black hardware, this axe spits out devilish tone shapeable for metal, rock, and more, thanks to a pair of Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers. Flip the Evil Twin over and you’ll find a stunning back flaunting its swamp ash body and maple/walnut/padauk neck-through construction. Rip away at spirited solos or churn out massive chords on the ultra thin “C” neck replete with 24 easy fretting X-jumbo stainless steel frets. Make no mistake: this high-powered Schecter will take your music to villainous realms of fiendish intensity!

Constructing the beast

Ask metal guitarists at Sweetwater their opinions on Schecter and they may never stop raving about quality build designs and incredible sonic capabilities. When it comes to the Solo-II SLS Elite Evil Twin, appointments like a fast-playing ebony fingerboard, a 12-inch to 16-inch compound radius, and Schecter locking tuners add ghastly magnetic charm with an air toward professional performance. In fact, Schecter delighted so much in the design of the Evil Twin that they let its back wood shine through its polyurethane coating to show it off. Also, Schecter topped the Evil Twin off with Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dot markers — you'll perform on the dark stages in ways you never have before!

Aggressive humbuckers

Outfitted with a pair of Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers, the Solo-II SLS Elite Evil Twin packs some serious heat from fires of the deep. Alnico magnets deliver a fast, aggressive sound with plenty of richness. Plus, with ceramic magnets, you’ll find top-end presence and killer articulation. Next, volume, tone, and a 3-way switch put tone shaping capabilities right into your hands. The bottom line? This axe expels chugging chordal soundscapes and fiery lead voicings that’ll take your sonic exploration to new heights.

Refined touches for enhanced performance

Engineered for high levels of performance, the Evil Twin exhibits unique touches that combine to make it a show stopper. Roman numeral inlays array the ebony fingerboard with striking looks. An Ernie Ball compensated nut keeps intonation equalized across the whole range of the fretboard. Lastly, Schecter locking tuners ensure continuously precise tuning during long practice sessions and gnarly gigs. All in all, we’re more than impressed with the Solo-II SLS Elite Evil Twin here at Sweetwater — we can't put this axe down, but we're not complaining!

Amazing guitar

This quickly has become my favorite guitar. Thin neck with natural wood back is easier to play for me. The active pickups are exceptional for sound. Thanks to Corey and crew at Sweetwater for sending me a masterpiece! I can always count on Corey and Sweetwater sending me the best no matter where I'm at – even the other side of the planet

Can I put more than 5 stars?

I am always in the market for a new guitar. Sometimes I strike gold, sometimes I find the reviews and I don't agree. But this guitar is something special.

It has everything I'm looking for in a guitar. Its incredibly fast and thin neck, Fishman Fluence pickups, killer looks, locking tuners, and great sound all add into the overall feeling that I am playing a fantastic guitar. I'm a little shocked at how much I like this guitar! Of course, Sweetwater also makes sure it's in perfect condition before they even pop it in the mail. I've owned a number of Schecters over the years, and this one makes the others pale in comparison. It makes a lot of my guitars pale in comparison. Now, I've never owned an expensive guitar, but this guitar is what I imagine a guitar in that range to be like. Very solid workmanship, not a raised fret or sharp edge to be found.
