Schecter Univeral Bass Hardshell Case
Fits my Schecter Dug Pinnick 12 string bass end to end. Feels nice and sturdy. Extra closed wall cavity spaces for straps, cables, tuners, strings, picks and enough room for the Tech 21 Dug preamp pedal as well. The fit with the lid is tight so when it's closed stuff can't slide around in it and damage your instrument. Tried to order it on another site and my order sat unprocessed for 2 weeks. Ordered from Sweetwater and it arrived before the refund from that other site had even processed. Well done Sweetwater and Schecter. Very happy with my purchase and the customer service.

Fits Perfect!
This case fits my Schecter DP-12 with just a little room to spare, being a "universal" sized accessory. The neck support fits it pretty snug, there is very little play or "wiggle room" with the fit. Upon closing the case completely and lifting it up, the instrument inside did not move or slide around, but I will probably add a small foam-rubber block near the bottom strap pin location just to make it as snug as possible. Honestly, I'm just pleased that I have a case that fits such a large instrument.

On Schecter's website, this is the case they recommended for the DP-12, since a 12-string bass has a massive headstock and needs a roomier case, and this gets the job done. For the sake of leaving the most helpful review possible, I put a few other instruments inside. The compartment is a great fit for a 4- or 5-string bass (the DP-12 is as wide as a 5-string bass), but when I put my Ibanez 6-string EHB in to test it, the neck was wider than the neck section and didn't fit quite so well (this bass is also shorter, being a headless design, and fits inside a guitar-sized gig bag). Would have been fantastic to include some soft foam inserts for getting the snuggest fit, but I am a DIYer so I can whip something up and it will be just another fun project, for me.

All around, they made a lot of great choices in designing this case. The case exterior is tough but with just a little flexion, which I believe is ideal for absorbing impact forces. I feel pretty confident about traveling with a somewhat expensive 12-string bass inside this case. The soft velvety surface on the inside seems like a good choice, it feels like there is either stiff styrofoam or cardboard lattice backing it. Whatever it is I can see it is designed to support the instrument, but buckle and take the brunt of the force in the event that the case gets crushed, just like a car bumper. Hopefully I never have to find out how that goes...

It has several compartments with no lids/doors surrounding the instrument compartment. I don't think I would use these for anything loose that could potentially damage the finish of my instrument, because it doesn't look like the soft surfaces on the two halves meet together when the case is closed; having an allen wrench migrate over to the instrument compartment and lodging itself while experiencing vibrations on the road would result in a very bad day. But these compartments have enough room for several compact pedals (think MXR size, like one of their compressor pedals). I put a slightly chunkier pedal inside, it's about 2-1/8" tall, and the lid closes fine with the pedal being secured. Anything larger than 1/2" should not be able to escape these compartments during transit.

I have several Schecter instruments and now this case, they are among my top favorite brands of musical instruments and gear. This is a solid and sturdy case, I am very pleased with my purchase.

Perfect fit for my Schecter Stargazer 12 String Bass
After purchasing my 12-string I wanted to have something that would properly fit it. This may be a minor detail to many but I really like the blue color of the padding inside. Construction and build quality looks to be on par with the Fender, Gator & CNB cases that I have. A big thank you to Brandon for hooking me up with this case to protect my investment!

As expected
Great fit for my older lefty stargazer.
