Great Travel Case
I recently bought the MODX6+ for traveling so I can practice on the road. I have the MODX8+ but that's a bit much to throw over your shoulder. This case is compact and has multiple carry options. You can carry with the side handle, the hook handle on the back (which is also useful for just hanging on the wall), or it also has built in back pack type straps for ease of transport. The Yamaha MODX6 case is good quality and has an external storage space for chords, music, pedals etc. The only thing I would have added is a slip case on the outside middle for flat objects like a tablet on the MODX8 case. Tommy hooked me up and I am very pleased with the case.

Great Case
It's hard to believe finding a case for such a great keyboard would be like finding a needle in a haystack. Thanks to advice from the staff at Sweetwater I was directed toward this case. It took several weeks for it to arrive, but, hey, it was worth the wait!

This case is fantastic! The size and weight is perfect. But what I love most is the height. It's tall enough that I'm not overly concerned about damaging the buttons and knobs on the keyboard.

For this keyboard I have not found anything else that works.

Traveling musician but not airplane
Great idea to carry it on your back and when not in use you can hide the back straps inside itself . 61 key is light enough to carry long distance and just hold my stand and a fan. The pocket is big enough for wires, iPad, mic, power supply and a small sustain pedal it can fit a big pro line pedal but that's pushing it.. Great design for the modx, fits nice and snug and the inside is soft, Blue zippers looks kool.. The only thing I would like to see is a seperate sustain pedal pouch above the existing one and plastic skids on the bottom.. It has them for the side which is great but I usually stand my keyboard up for extra room. Other than that I do think it's great for the price and I highly recommend it for the musician that goes from gig to gig and walking around just not on a plane obviously. It would be a 5 if it had the two other things I mentioned. That is all...
