Safeguards Your Gear While Supplying Easy Setup

SKB's Roto-molded 10U Top Mixer Rack safeguards your gear while supplying you with easy setup. Its 1-piece base is roto-molded of durable Linear Medium-density Polyethylene, ensuring top-shelf protection for your gear, while its hard cover and rear door are injection-molded of Rubber Modified Styrene. The lid and rear door are both removable, giving you easy access to your rack gear, while side access ports make cable routing a breeze. Security is never a problem with this rack, thanks to two TSA-approved locking trigger latches. Beyond that, its flat hard top allows for stacking with SKB roto racks. The Roto-molded Top Mixer Rack includes carrying handles for easy transportation.

Reviews

Skb 1skb-r100
I took a risk buying this here case, as my board (x32 producer) is not on the list of boards that would fit. It was made primarily for one of Allen und Heath's compact boards (model number escapes me), so I looked up that model, and got dimensions and specs for that board. The basic dimensions were exactly the same, but there were some minor differences in shape, the angles and locations of i/o's, that kind of thing. Bottom line- my x32 producer fits almost perfectly. About the only problem really is that the back panel of the case needs to be removed to connect inputs (a 2 second job), and the headphones cannot be plugged into the headphone jack ( not a problem, as I got a splitter, and plugged the headphones into the monitor outs). The side ports in the case can be used for cable routing, but not with the back cover in place- not a big deal at all, since the back cover has to be off anyway. The top cover can be put on to keep prying fingers out, and with cables removed, the whole thing can be secured- no foam or other b.s. As far as the case itself, the quality is exceptional. I recommend it unconditionally.
Great product
Just to answer a question any one may have, this (along with the rotopod) does fit the Mackie CR1604vlz, with some room to spare. (See photos) makes carrying the mixer easier, the side holes allow for cables to come out the side, and keep the mixer covered.

You can close the top with it wired
My studio is a 48 year old 19' RV. It ain't much, but it's clean. I heat it with a catalytic heater. that's rough on metal, so gold cables and foam ear plugs in every 1/4" input. This case protects the mixer from the heater and dust. I also run a 20 x 20 filter/fan to collect any dust in the studio.

Great Job
I received this case and loved it for what it was. Lost one star because it would have been nice to have1 rack space or something to secure power to.
