Easier Audio Testing, Right Now
The Rolls MO2020se Testoscillator is a compact signal generator for audio testing, tuning, and troubleshooting that ensures equipment works as it should. The MO2020se adds even more outputs and an expanded -30dB pad to the original design of Roll’s MO2020 test box. At its core, the MO2020se generates one focused sound as either a sine or a square wave with a huge selectable range frequency range of 20Hz to 24kHz. Each waveform’s level has its own dedicated control knob, and you can dial in the Testoscillator’s pitch via the box’s frequency knob. Because the Testoscillator’s design is largely analog, no apps, software, or Wi-Fi are necessary for setup and use. Its ability to streamline workflow and test sessions has made this box a sleeper hit among Sweetwater audio professionals.
Ample inputs and control options
With abundant ways to hook up a Testoscillator to your gear, this device is great for troubleshooting, tuning, testing, and more. Outputs are separated by wave form; options for sine wave output include XLR, RCA, and unbalanced 1/4-inch jacks, while square wave output runs through a single unbalanced 1/4-inch port. Also onboard is a useful VCO (voltage-controlled oscillator) input for externally controlling the Testoscillator with another device. The VCO option allows for expanded testing options such as faster signal sweeps, and it receives power of 1.2 to 5 volts of direct current.
