Instant Upgrade for Your Electric

The quality and composition of a bridge can have a dramatic effect on the sound and performance of your electric guitar. That's why Sweetwater’s Guitar Workshop loves recommending Graph Tech ResoMax replacement bridges to our customers. Each style is made from a lightweight proprietary alloy to improve tone, enhance harmonics, and maximize tuning stability. In some cases, it can absolutely bring your axe to life. This goes especially far on import guitars featuring bridges and other hardware that are often produced as cheaply as possible. In the case of the PS-8863-G0, its PTFE-impregnated String Saver saddles reduce string breakage and eliminate snag points for greater life and tuning. Looking to give your favorite electric a tonal makeover? The Graph Tech PS-8863-G0 ResoMax NV2 Tune-o-matic bridge is a great place to start.

It Really works!
Bought this for my Gretsch Electromatic 5222 double jet. I was able to use the original bridge pins bushings, but the spacing was off by .2mm. I sanded the bridge pins by putting them in my drill and holding the end( the part that the bridge slides onto) with sand paper. I was able to shave off .1 mm on each bridge pin and it worked. The guitar definitely seems to have more vibration through the body, is loader when playing unplugged and sustain is slightly improved. The saddle adjusting screws work great. It took all of five minutes to intonate the guitar. I am not saying you should sand the pins but…
It was easy to sand the bridge pins but do that at your own risk!! I took a chance and it worked out great.
Music background: Playing guitar for 10 years
Love these things
These things really wake a guitar up, I put them on all of my epis. I've used the string saver and metal saddle setup on multiple units. I almost like the string saver sound better. Haven't broken any strings and my tuning stability is much better. Tolerance is tight if you keep your factory anchors but if you take your time it all slides together nice and tight. Little more sustain and better harmonics just as they advertise.
awesome upgrade
This did not fit my epi sg custom which I purchased it for. but it did fit my epi lp custom shop!!! the lp sounded great before but this bridge really brings out the harmonics and sustain, big time!!!
I will be buying another one for my tommy thayer epi. well worth the money...money well spent!!
time to spank the plank !
Music background: 25 years playing the guitar..stereo amp setup and lots of od !!
String bending confidence.......
I love the tone of Graph techs resomax bridge,it also looks very good on my Epiphone SG custom,I have always played with alot of intensity for over 40 years now,I have used Graph-Tech products for the last 12 years, never had a problem with them. My Sweetwater sales rep was so helpful with a great attitude and I will continue to use Sweetwater whenever I can afford some new gear.
Music background: Started playing gigs at age 13, just an old road musician,I am 60 now,I will play to the End.
Favorite Bridge
This bridge is fantastic. It looks and feels great. The install was simple and easy. It was a perfect fit. Just had to take out the existing screws and put the new bridge right in. The screws both for string height and intonation adjust easily. Was a breeze adjusting string height and intonation. The saddles not only look great but also feel comfortable with palm mutes. I can also feel the difference in resonance with this bridge. It might be a bit pricey but it's worth having this bridge on your guitar.
