Great Gooseneck
Just upgraded from an EV gooseneck which was prone to overloading when speakers tended to get too close to the mic. This Sennheiser seams to be immune to poops and overloads when speakers want to eat the mic. Fidelity is remarkable, I didn't realize how bad the EV mic was till I worked with this the MEG 14-40. I recommend it highly.

This great addition to my bag of tricks adds a very clean sounding microphone as a new option for clients. Better frequency response that other microphones around the same cost. It is a world better than the bulky cordless microphones that I have used in the past for podium mics. It is also my first choice for a talk back mic to put near the mixer.

Sennheiser MEG 14-40 best for out needs and budget
Best on the market for our needs, no pop for words the start with the letter S or P in them. The speaker voice can be understood better and less use of the Hearing assets equipment. If you need a great mic on a budget then this is a good one for you
