I need to create a compact drum set for recording. I already have a Sabian Omni 19" AAX and with the HHX my sound is complete. This is an amazing crash/ride, and a great addition to my kit.

The 22" and the 19" make a perfect pair for that Jazzy, clear sound. The " Crash" is short in sustain, not too loud for those intimate gigs. Over all, the Omni line make a fine addition to your HHX, and my HH cymbals. Absolute top quality. Admittedly, time help my rating, they have their place, and in it, is wonderful

Sabian has always been a top choice of mine and I watched the video of this cymbal being played [by two people simultaneously!].
The description of the sound by Sabian was 'Dark'. It is not, at least the one I was shipped. I would describe the sound of this one [while riding it] as 'tinny', almost china like.
The 21" AAX Medium ride that came in the 'Sabian Promotional Pack', in my opinion, sounds better and has better stick definition [with one moon gel] and less 'wash' than the 19" Omni.
The 19" Omni will be an effects cymbal and the AAX 21" Medium ride will be my go to ride.
Maybe I should have gone to a brick and mortar store to hear it for myself before ordering it.....
Sweetwater rocks and I will keep coming back for my percussion needs.
