Stealth

Typical office chairs are built to lean back. Audio, video, lighting, and broadcast engineers lean forward — into a console or computer — for hours, and that’s the working posture Stealth was built to support. A patented seat shell pivots as you lean in, so the chair moves with you instead of pushing back. Stealth chairs come in multiple sizes to fit the user’s height and weight; are made in Centennial, Colorado; and are backed by a 5-year warranty. From world-class studios to the world’s biggest tours, it’s the chair engineers trust to get them through the session.

Comfort & Support from Soundcheck to Encore

Long before the house lights dim and the crowd finds its seats, there’s one seat already in place — the one behind the console. Front-of-house engineers, monitor techs, and lighting operators spend the entire show leaning forward into their gear, dialing in every cue and every mix while everyone else is watching the stage. That’s the posture Stealth is built around. A patented seat shell pivots as the engineer leans into the console, and a lever unlocks a backrest that moves with them instead of pushing back, so the focus stays on the mix instead of a sore neck. It’s not a chair chosen for how it looks under the lights — though it holds its own there, too — it’s the chair chosen because the show doesn’t stop for discomfort. On tours big and small, in major music venues and local theaters, it’s the seat that’s always in position.

    Crafted to Endure

Every Stealth chair is built in Centennial, Colorado, using high-quality materials chosen to hold up under real touring conditions. Touring is hard on gear — trucks loaded and unloaded night after night, cases stacked and shipped from city to city, temperature swings from stage to trailer. A chair headed for that life needs the same standard of materials and construction as the rest of the rig around it — far beyond the standard required to perform in an office environment. Building in the USA means every material and every step of assembly is held to that standard from the start. If a chair can hold up to the road, then a studio session is never going to be the thing that wears it out.

    Adapts to Any Workspace

Stealth chairs can be configured with a choice of two piston heights: studio/desk height complements most studio consoles and sitting desks while touring/standing desk height accommodates touring consoles and standing desks. Pair the taller piston height with the fully adjustable footring — no tools required — and you’ve got proper leg support at standing-desk height, too (no more dangling legs). All these components come standard, empowering you to build your chair to suit your current needs and reconfigure it as those needs change.

    Adjustable to Your Body

A chair only works if it fits the person in it, not the other way around. Every Stealth chair adjusts seat height, seat angle, backrest angle, and backrest height, so the chair’s base matches the console’s base. The armrests pivot, raise, and widen independently — three separate adjustments — so they land under the elbow rather than forcing a shrug to reach the controls. Add the adjustable footrest height, and the whole chair, not just the seat, is dialed in to the person sitting in it. Eight points of adjustment, one goal: a chair you never have to work around.

    Built for the Long Haul

Every Stealth chair carries a 5-year manufacturer warranty. And because every component is a stocked, replaceable part, a repair rarely means a new chair — it means swapping in a simple cylinder or bushing using an included fitting guide. It’s part of why there are engineers who’ve been sitting in the same Stealth chair for 15 years and counting. That’s the kind of support a chair needs to withstand daily sessions on the road and in the studio.
