Macro Coverage for Your microKORG

Whether you’re tearing up acid basses or vocoding your way to synthesizer stardom, Korg’s microKORG instruments are powerful, versatile machines with plenty to say. Of course, you’ll find yourself stepping back from time to time, and the last thing you want is a spilled drink or falling equipment to damage your carefully curated sonics. Thankfully, Decksaver’s polycarbonate cover is a highly durable and form-fitting solution, precision engineered to protect your synths from stray dust, grime, liquid, and impact damage. Plus, its slim profile is tailored to provide coverage at all times, meaning you don’t have to remove it when storing or transporting. Gigging synthesists here at Sweetwater especially appreciate the decision to design the coverage to allow cables to remain plugged in, ensuring keys, knobs, wheels, and buttons are free from harm without the hassle of dealing with more cabling onstage.

Decksaver DSLE-PC-MICROKORG Polycarbonate Cover Features:

  • Polycarbonate construction is highly durable while remaining light in weight
  • Tailored formfactor accommodates both microKORG and microKORG S synthesizers
  • Low-profile design provides protection from dust, liquid, grime, and impact
  • Cover can stay on during transportation and with cables connected to keep synths safe under numerous conditions

Reviews

An ABSOLUTE MUST for your microKORG!
This little piece of luxury is a MUST to, 1) Keep the dust off and out of your synth, 2) Protect your precious synth in transit, and, 3) It looks cool! The cover DOES NOT snap on to the top, it's only held on by gravity - so it will fall off. For transporting, a Velcro-type strap going around the entire keyboard/cover is the safest bet to keep it in place. The other observation about the cover (I haven't tested this - it's speculation) is that it's a plastic that will crack if sat on, etc., so you'll want to take care of it. (Considering it's clear, and placing it somewhere susceptible to being sat on in a dark studio, etc., well...you've been warned.) Yes, it's expensive - but so was your microKORG - so do both you and your synth a favor and get one of these!
Music background: aMateuR, then pRo, back to aMateUr - pRo again soon!
