Two Impressive Practice Pads in One!

Whether you're working on rudiments or elevating your endurance, it pays to have a quality practice pad. That's where Zildjian's Reflexx Workout Pad comes in. This 10-inch practice pad has two versatile sides — each tuned for top-tier performance. The Flexx surface offers a realistic and responsive feel akin to a real snare drum. Flip the pad over and use the high-resistance Workk surface for quieter practice and low-velocity exercises. Sweetwater recommends the Reflexx Workout Pad to any drummer who wants to get a great fundamental workout in while keeping the noise down.

Zildjian Reflexx Workout Pad Features:

  • Promotes control, strength, and endurance
  • Flexx surface for high-velocity techniques and realistic stick bounce
  • Work surface is ideal for low-velocity techniques and low noise

If you don't have a practice pad set up and accessable 24/7 your simply missing out. I regret not buying this sooner. I had an Evans pad but it was usually in my bag on the road but having this in my room has brought me so much inspiration and immediate improvement. Also it's cool to have the two sides to mess with, I also love how quiet it is. Shout-out to my rep JD Shamoun the GOAT for getting this to me!

More “RealFeel” than Evans’
This is the most realistic feeling drum pad I've ever used, hands down. Feels just like playing on a snare or tom. Most rubber pads (including Evans RealFeel) just feel like that; rubber. Doesn't feel anywhere close to an actual drumhead.

Mesh heads are a significant upgrade to rubber, but still way too bouncy to feel anything like an actual drumhead, even if the tuning of a certain drum is cranked super high. Yes, Remo (and I believe Ludwig?) make/made practice pads that use a real drum head, but isn't one of the main reasons for having a practice pad is that you don't have to worry about having to change a drumhead? That can be costly, and for drummers who aren't able to play their kits very often and mostly practice without the kit (myself included) the practice pad we use needs to be able to take a beating, and a last a long time.

This pad does so, and it feels like playing a part of my kit, all at the same time. Why buy a Roland Vwhatever for quiet practice when this baby feels more like a real drum than any of Roland's pads ever will?

BUY IT.

Great Drum Pad
Highly recommended, made me want to practice way more often.
The best birthday present!
It was such a pleasure to see our grandson's face when he opened your package. The pad was precisely what he wants and needs. Thank you!

Reflexx Review
This is an excellent pad. Both sides feel great.

The "Flexx" side has rebound similar to a snare or tom. It's enjoyable to play on because it's dense enough to transfer minimal shock while having enough rebound to allow multiple bounce strokes. The hands don't fatigue as fast as with a high rebound pad.

The denser "Workk" surface offers little to no rebound. I enjoy using this side for learning new music as I can really play into the pad and lean into the stickings. Of course, this side is also good for conditioning the hands to compensate for playing on minimal rebound surfaces.

I have multiple practice pads and encourage having a variety of pad surfaces to practice with, but if I had to choose only one pad to use for everything, this would be the one.

Ask any drummer at Sweetwater, and chances are, we'll tell you that Zildjian represents the gold - or rather bronze - standard in cymbal making. Seriously, Avedis Zildjian may have been trying to make gold, but he did even better when he formulated what's arguably the best cymbal material on the planet. We've played virtually every type of Zildjian cymbal out there, and you won't find anyone at Sweetwater who wouldn't happily recommend their instruments to you, plus their sticks and other accessories are also pretty sweet. Whether you're grabbing your first S or Planet Z pack or have saved up for the A or K series cymbals you've always wanted, Sweetwater is your source for all things Zildjian.
