Two Sides — Twice as Effective!

Zildjian’s Reflexx Workout Pad defies the standard of modern-day practice pads, offering a versatile solution for conditioning the different rhythmic strengths of different parts of your arm. For standard and low-stress practice sessions with average resistance, Sweetwater drummers recommend using the Flexx surface, which provides a 3/4-inch platform that’s accommodating for a variety of playing speeds and techniques. Here, you’ll get to exercise your arms, wrists, and fingers evenly. When it’s time to turn things up a notch and move on to some strength training and conditioning for both your upper and lower arms, turn to the Workk side! The greater resistance and limited rebound of this 1/2-inch surface will challenge your strengths and identify areas of improvement, making it perfect for mastering your technique. Plus, both surfaces are twice as sound absorbent as most other practice pads on the market, affording you the peace of mind for practicing your chops in just about any location — and with zero worry of disturbing your neighbors!

Zildjian Reflexx Workout Pad Features:

  • 6-inch practice pad for drummers and marching percussionists
  • Incredibly quiet playing surfaces for minimum disturbance to neighbors while practicing
  • Flexx side boasts a 3/4-in. thickness with great rebound and low resistance, great for standard practicing and exercising arms, wrists, and fingers
  • Work side features a 1/2-in. thickness with limited rebound and greater resistance, ideal for strengthening your upper and lower arms
  • Available in 6- and 10-in. diameters for expanded accuracy training

Reviews

This might be the best practice pad I own!
I love that it has different color choices. I love that it is 6" and I can bring it to work with me and play on my lunch breaks. The bouncy side is hard rubber and pretty quiet unless you smack hard. The other side is best described as a harder foam (harder than Meinl's marshmallow material). I love the hard side because it provides a work out and forces you to work on technique. In addition, the hard side (workout) side is almost silent. Absolutely worth the price!
Music background: Drums

Ask any drummer at Sweetwater, and chances are, we'll tell you that Zildjian represents the gold - or rather bronze - standard in cymbal making. Seriously, Avedis Zildjian may have been trying to make gold, but he did even better when he formulated what's arguably the best cymbal material on the planet. We've played virtually every type of Zildjian cymbal out there, and you won't find anyone at Sweetwater who wouldn't happily recommend their instruments to you, plus their sticks and other accessories are also pretty sweet. Whether you're grabbing your first S or Planet Z pack or have saved up for the A or K series cymbals you've always wanted, Sweetwater is your source for all things Zildjian.
