I bought this Zildjian stool as an open box item. It arrived promptly, with everything I needed for assembly. The product was in like new condition and went together easily. I'm using it as a guitar stool. I'm 5 foot 8 inches tall and the foot ring is a perfect height for me. The stool tip is comfortable a d rotates easily. No.complaints at all would buy again. Open box saved me money.

This stool is just what I needed to ensure proper posture when I am practicing/playing guitar. It is very sturdy, quite comfortable and the swivel feature adds versatility. I will add, however, that the foot rung is about an inch too high for a comfortable knee bend. However, using a foot stool comfortably accomodates for this.

They're built well and look good out of the box, and while they're challenging to build, the joinery is tight which is a good sign.

The only two complaints that I have are that the metal looks like it was painted very cheaply, and out of the two stools I built, I had 3 bolts that had paint layering so thick I couldn't get an allen key inside them. They don't include any extra hardware, so this was pretty frustrating, since it's basically impossible to tighten those without the allen key.

Also, the swiveling mechanism varied a lot between the two stools. One turns completely smoothly, and the other one grinds a bit even with no weight on it. Again, not a huge issue since players are never going to be doing 360s during their solos, but it's indicative of some lacking QC.

I'm still happy, but if these were $ extra and included one spare bolt they would be a much easier recommendation.
